Try to reset your router.
Or alternatively, perform direct connection to ONU.

If still occurs, time to get a new router.

Thanks.

Yes will need to do a reset. What is the default router user name & password?.

Password: TIMEXXXX ( XXXX is the last 4 digits of your MAC Address which can be found at the bottom of the router.

Before that, you must have the PPPOE Login details ready.

Thanks.

Check out Blacktubi's thread for good router performance tests and results.
In a nutshell:
Asus 1200G+/1300 HP/higher end routers
TP-link higher end routers

I am going for a mesh system myself...as soon as I can save up lol

been complaint to TIME and request them to come install fibre infrastructure for my condo. but they keep delaying it. any reason for it?

also how to expedite it for them to come faster?

Im sure we have more than 100 pax will subscribe once it is available as all the residents were stuck in stupid TM Unifi copper package (the bloody expensive and low speed package).

anyone here got the contact of their area manager or the one manage the infrastructure expansion manager. TQVM

Real On-Site Testing

Tested 2 nodes Deco M9 Plus combo with Dlink DIR882 on 1Gbps line yesterday...

Incoming 7xxMbps, take into consideration of old concealed Cat5e cables in the house,
On Wireless, Deco able to achieve 5xxMbps (tested on TP-Link Deco apps), normal speedtest TIME Server constantly giving 4xxMbps.

Beamforming -- slightly bit slower.
Node-to-Node connectivity -- superb
Setup -- Easy

For Home mesh, this is definitely a recommended choice.

Thanks.

Apart being TIME Authorized Disti & SI, we are also working on network infra for various providers.
Lots of factors could lead to the delay such as the capex, budget allocation, the existing infra distance, core capacity, your condo homes passed, authority approval, contractor issues & many many more.

We could connect you to the respective team & you may understand more on the cause of delay.

AAAAA OMG so tempting.
So you put the Dlink in bridge mode?

BTW what was the house size?

Dlink as PPPOE dialer connected to ONU, considering stability, TIME's policy for troubleshooting later & customer's unit existing cable design.

1st Node of Deco is linked via old Cat5e cable which we cannot do anything. House size approx 4500 sq.ft.

your building management already sign the agreement form from TIME? (To allowed them to install fiber infrastructure). My building management already sign the form and pass back to TIME on mid of Sept 2018, according to the in charge person (TIME), most likely they will take 9montsh to 1 year to install the fiber at my area, the reason given - they have too many projects on hand, all of them have to queue up and finish 1 by 1.... sad.gif

Good day to all, I am using a TP-Link Archer C7 V2 with firmware 3.15.1 Build 160715 Rel.50549n. My plan just upgraded to 1Gbps. Using my desktop with cat5e I'm getting 800-900Mbps. But using 5Ghz wifi connection with my huawei p20 pro I can't get past 200Mbps. Anyone experiencing this?

And also, is it safe to upgrade the firmware from MY to UK? TIA!

Nothing wrong with that, WiFi is slower than wired connection due to technology limitation.

I have C7 v2 as well. My phone can get 350+mbps if 1m away from router.
You should check your phone's wifi spec. If not mimo capable, then it will max out at around 200mbps only.
