Only 100mbps is on CGNAT. Don't think they've changed anything
*
Yeah I double checked with CS. They're giving a public ipv4 address. Apparently its a static address, we'll see how it goes.

Yup. Same thing happening with Allo since they also use NTT as Upstream provider

Luckily cloud provider was able to change routing to their other upstream, Cogent within 24 hours of reporting the issue.

termination fee is 500.

so regret to extend the warranty when they offer free upgrade of modem and mesh which are so so only.

So in your opinion is it better to go for Unifi?

Sorry I don’t quite understand what is this. Does that mean Time internet so bad? Or it is ok to use as normal usage?

No. I wanna have earlier termination because I seldom at home until night. Hence, it is a waste to pay over RM150+

Wanna switch to 5G which is cheaper for light usage at night only.

Not at all. Many ISPs use similar upstream providers with exception of big ISP like TM. Depending on which routing they choose to advertise, your experience may vary when accessing your favourite sites/game server etc.

What I'm showing is speedtest and traceroute from my cloud provider to my current ISP, Allo City Broadband which was having slowness issue because of NTT routing similar to what TIME uses.

I was just lucky that my cloud provider was able to change the routing to Allo's other upstream provider, Cogent which resolved the issue.

Since these routing issues happen every now and then, I have created a script that I can give to any cloud provider to run on their servers which will auto run Traceroute and speedtest-cli to Allo City Broadband Speedtest.net servers. This speeds up troubleshooting on their end.

You will need to do your homework before committing to any ISP. Generally, any ISP is ok for general use. The only other factor, is your budget.

Feel free to ask around and we will be glad to share our experience

NTT having cable issue from HKG towards JP. that why the ping and speed is abnormal not sure when will be recover.

Btw why time don't change current NTT routing to TATA or He.net routing as they dont have issue towards US.

Hi experts, can I use unifi wifi6 routers for time broadband? Like the fiberhome brand. Thank you for advice

As long as you can modify the VLAN to suit Time's, should be okay. Iianm, Time doesn't use VLAN, just disable it and dial PPPOE will do

But are you really okay with the 'unifi' SSID suffix?

fast.com is not that accurate btw. Sometimes I can even get more than a gigabit, when it's not possible

My pt is not on the exceeded speed.

I just wanted to say that I can finally attain full speed at the child node after finding the right position of both main and child nodes eventually.

I think Becos based on per GB speed cost, time is already considered cheaper?

Yes, time is cheaper. I think those area covered by Maxis NGBB, it's even cheaper compared to TIME but the upload speed cannot compete with TIME.

maybe this is the reason? After all if comparing middle plan of 500Mbps time is still cheaper. Not to mention that the upload speed is higher.
