But at this present, tm should reduce streamyx price and make it standardized, below rm100. In that case, then make it open again and again, other users also make some report to mcmc, they keep closed it. by the way in your area have anyone using unifi or maxis?

My area already got unifi for sometime. Just that I didn't change to unifi as everyone using hp data. It is also need to do rewiring as mine is current concealed.

Then create duplicated of mcmc report at least 10 reports..
See how they close the report.

Each week create 1 report.. 1 month then can have 4 reports already..

My current streamyx port support up to 4M & TM should just auto upgrade it at least to 2M without needing to wait for additional unifi port for ages.

Has anyone on Streamyx but in an existing UNIFI area actually accepted the so called 'FREE' upgrade to UNIFI?

What are the exact terms?
1. Are the monthly charges exactly the same as UNIFI? This is especially for those with permanent discounts and paying below RM99 monthly?
2. Installation charges?

Last 2 weeks my phone no dial tone but my streamyx still working, call them to fix it. After they fixed it, my streamyx die, then received a call said the port strike by lightning. Wait few days not fix yet, made another report. After the technician fixed it, I notice the ADSL stat change to 4MB (I subscribed 1 MB package, last year received free upgrade to 2MB). Yesterday after I restart my modem, I notice the speed jump to 350++ kbps, I didn't bother because I thought their side gone crazy. Today login to my account, I notice they upgrade my package to 4 MB, starting yesterday but I didn't receive any email about this.

I was wondering if I upgrade to unifi 100MB, will they ask me to pay penalty?

TM Net ... all fake promises. Free upgrade by phase but hello where is your schedule timeline for upgrade?

Free upgrade but you need to wait for 5 years, you want or not? Ltr reverse back government, they got "protection" again. We all mati la....monopoly game again with premium prices and turtle speed connection.

I am in same upgrade with you, but with official email from Unifi.

Sign into my unifi account page and notice it is the free upgrade for 2018.

I am facing no free unifi port at my area, so treat it as usual first.

May later go and make noise for free 8mb upgrade.

Why worry, as this official free upgrade and also a way they use to stop streamyx user to complaint.

We have the choice for wanna upgrade or not.

I have informed the staff at TM that better to have free port for UNIFI than free upgrade for 8mb. Unless they further reduce its price to way way lower.

Offered Unifi Lite 10mbps (with std+unifi play tv) for existing streamyx 4mbps. Price remain as existing package.

Hi all, I've just received a call from TM notifying that I am eligible for an upgrade to Unifi with 2 option - (both of which you will not like it and both is only limited to 10Mbps).

1st option - Upgrade to a one off RM80 monthly fee for good.

2nd option - You can opt to remain with your streamyx monthly bill (eg. paying RM66/month) but this offer is only valid for a year and soon after your 1 year period is up it will be automatically adjusted to RM120/RM129?

Both Options will not require you to sign a new contract, therefore you can cancel the deal after a year making the 2nd Option a better deal to save yourself a few RM and resubscribe to the current 'Unifi Basic @ RM80 30Mbps' if you so desire.

Personally I'm not technically happy at both option since TM website states that Streamyx customer should be getting 'Up to 100Mbps) speed upgrade. I did further check with my neighbors and many of which are subscribing to 30Mbps or more.

I did try to find out from TM why is my case so exceptional and their reply is that they have checked my port and my port is only limited to 10Mbps while many of my surrounding neighbors have higher ports (which don't seem to make any sense).

I'm in opinion that TM is trying to limit Streamyx upgrade to Unifi limited to 10Mbps for some obvious reasons. So do not be too overly excited with your Unifi upgrade.

Since TM announced that almost 50% of their Streamyx customer already received their Unifi upgrade, I would like to know if anyone receive speeds more than 10Mbps or if anyone considering making a formal complain to MCMC with a somewhat unethical TM business plan.

Beware, those are actually middle man 3rd party agents pretending to be TM sales department. Some netizens here alr shared their experience. Those ppl get commision from every new deals made.

I suggest u be patient 1st. It might also be a wait n see approach from TM side to see if u take the bait. Ya, they are that cunning. I assure u they will offer u a "no string attached" transition to unifi lite, for free and no compromise required from u, no commitment period renewal eventually. As for telephone number, some said rm25 monthly 2 maintain, some said rm1? Some said will be ported to unifi fiber line... im not sure, last time i just potong and get a new unifi phone number under fiber line. U never know one day u will get 100M no string attached too for rm8x if u have fiber infra one day. U may try your luck lodging skmm complain on TM saying they refuse to give u unifi lite for free w/o requiring something in return from u.

The trend ive seen from the past is that TM try as hard as possible to make the plans that most people will sign up above Rm100, 3 figures. TM is reluctant on offering deals below RM100, they are that greedy. Even until now after gomen intervention, they are still reluctant on price reduction, want to suck and leech to the last mile like a parasite.
