So far no good news for me. My area is 'Unified' but no more ports. I am subscribed to Streamyx 2mbps. Any way to get them to upgrade to 8mpbs first?

I have been waiting for free upgrade from my Streamyx to Unifi for the last few months. While my area is within Unifi coverage, there is no more fibre port available.

Anyway, I got tired of waiting so instead I applied for an upgrade via the Unifi self-service portal. Received a call the next day from TM and was told there's no more fibre port available. They will log a request and get back to me if there's any available.

Today, TM called to tell me they have port and asked if I want to upgrade. They offer the standard Unifi packages. I asked them if there is any special upgrade for me since I should be qualified for free upgrade up to 100Mbps Unifi on landed property.

After checking she said I don't appear to qualify for any special upgrade. She can only offer me a 10Mbps without quota for the same price I am paying now (RM90)!

So what is this free upgrade that TM is talking about?
