hello all, just checking if anyone facing this issue as me. may i check why maybank always rejects my application for credit limit increase?
i have 2 HSBC at 80k credit limit each (for personal and for wife) and 1 maybank at 20k limit.

as this is a business expense card, it usually hits 24k per months and its never missed a payment before. im trying to request a increase to 25k but always comes back decline.

You shouldn't use Maybank CC (personal) for business expenses. You don't comply T&C.
Get business credit card instead.

nope. In late 2010's I asked them to waive for maybankcard2 visa they advice me to just cancel & keep amex

I heard you cannot do that now. Have to maintain both the visa & amex

maybank updated their m2c cashback t&c yesterday.... seems to have some major changes of benefits (mostly better!) biggrin.gif

TBC until mbb issue an official announcement*:

1) Removed Payment via JomPAY and FPX from exclusions
2) Removed govt spend & utilities exclusion table
3) Removed ewallet exclusion clause

4) Added transaction date difference due to timezone into exclusions
5) Explanation of min RM1.00 cb earning

*Assuming min 21 days notification, likely these changes will take effect from Feb 2024.

p/s: Not sure if this copy will be final or WIP prior to announcement/effective date.

Tested reload ewallet (T@G), no cb. Lucky I just continue spending per usual after reloading 1k directly.

1. How do you know the ewallet did not get the CB, unless if you spend less than RM1k and did not get the full RM50 cb last month.
2. Assuming this only takes effect on Feb, shouldn't you test with Feb spending?

Just asking tho, I think eWallet still no CB

Silly question as I keep finding contradicting answers for -- if I were to use my AMEX on a weekday, but have it be under 1 year 0% installment with the merchant, do I still get x5 treat points?

Thank you.
