Been a long time 2 gold cards user (https://www.maybank2u.com.my/maybank2u/malaysia/en/personal/cards/credit/maybank_2_gold_card.page?) and am thinking to cancel it while applying for the Visa Signature (https://www.maybank2u.com.my/maybank2u/malaysia/en/personal/cards/credit/maybank_visa_signature.page?)

Good idea?

Can you just go into a Maybank branch and get a new credit card? Mine is expiring in October and just thinking if I can get a new one to replace it; instead of them mailing over (cause I don't trust their mailing address)

Branches don't have the machine and tool to make credit cards.

call in to verify your mailing address... or do u mean you don't trust the mailing service?

you can call into MBB contact centre and ask them to divert the card to your nearest branch or card centre, provided it has not been printed and sent. might still fail though, i,e. still send as per normal

cause i changed the address on the website + phone before but they still mess it up. would prefer if i jz collect from a branch to avoid the hassle

thanks for the advise

Silly question on the AMEX -- let say if my cashback is full from weekend, what will happen if I still swipe? Would it be x5 points?

no

TP on weekdays only

so if that is the case, it is a bit risky to make large transaction on weekends.
thanks!

Silly question as I keep finding contradicting answers for -- if I were to use my AMEX on a weekday, but have it be under 1 year 0% installment with the merchant, do I still get x5 treat points?

Thank you.
