Not related but SPay Later using AmEx Ikhwan is entitled for cash back.

"Total monthly Cash Back is less than RM1.00. For avoidance of doubt, this means cardmember is
required to meet minimum monthly accumulative “eligible spend” of RM20. "

==> I am abit confuse.
What does this mean?

Meaning you will need to spend a minimum amount of RM20 per month (accumulative across all eligible transactions) to get the minimum amount of cashback which is RM1. Any lower than that and you won't get any cashback.

I have been using Maybank 2 cards for quite long. Recently they send me new card since the old cards expiring. However, I seldom use (or never use) the Mastercard, just using the AMEX card. For those can't use AMEX, I use other bank CC instead. For Affin 2 duo 2 card, I opt to not activate the Affin Duo Rewards card and so far I was not charged with the annual SST of RM25. Therefore I plan to do the same for Maybank. Anyone tried it before?

Tested reload ewallet (T@G), no cb. Lucky I just continue spending per usual after reloading 1k directly.

why change the card? they already sent the cards to your old address .. cannot pick the cards there?

to change card address, just call them lor

but you can DIY yourself first:

1) m2u portal, update your profile address. This address tied to your casa/debit card actually.
2) call maybank cs
3) ask them to update your card profile address based on debit card's address (new).

contact the ex-landlord/lady to inform current tenant to keep your mails... then pass the mails to the ex-landlord/lady and you arrange to collect from him/her.

or if you want and not troublesome, collect directly from current tenant.

usually current tenant keep the mails and pass back to landlord/lady cuz only they know who was the previous tenant biggrin.gif

Hi. If pay bills, insurance, utilities, etc using Credit Card via Maybank2u, is it considered Online ?
Does it contain MCC Code ? If yes, what would it be ?
I notice most of the banks can pay bills using CC via their app/website .

M2 Visa/MC/Amex doesn't require the transactions to be online for CB/rewards.
For M2 Amex, you can get 5% weekend CB for bill payment at M2U EXCEPT Government bodies, utilities and via Jompay/FPX. Only very few bills you can pay using Amex at M2U (not via Jompay).

Almost all the banks will not give CB/rewards for Jompay/FPX transactions.

My main spending is VI but these 2 cards have been slow down in usage...so thinking of cutting it but is free for life well.

Spend RM1000 at Lazada/Shopee/AirAsia/MAS/Etiqa enough to cover RM25x2 SST.
