Any card that better I can change to? Impossible to answer as it depends on your spending pattern. PBB Visa Signature been nerfed quite badly, but Maybank2Kard is still pretty good. 5% cashback on any spend (as long as on weekend) is pretty top tier compared to other cashback cards (any higher % cards are normally category-limited or require some minimum total spend which reduces effective cashback). |

How about split into category can make it easier to advice? My monthly regular spend basically is:Petrol about rm500 petron. Tesco. Dining like MacDonald etc |

Hey All, Lotus's near my house has not accepted Amex since last week (and this week too).
Anyone facing the same problem? Is Amex not accepted by them permanently? This post has been edited by joetiew: Jan 28 2024, 04:16 PM |

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Jan 5 2024, 07:02 AM) maybank updated their m2c cashback t&c yesterday.... seems to have some major changes of benefits (mostly better!) The TNCTBC until mbb issue an official announcement*: 1) Removed Payment via JomPAY and FPX from exclusions 2) Removed govt spend & utilities exclusion table 3) Removed ewallet exclusion clause 4) Added transaction date difference due to timezone into exclusions 5) Explanation of min RM1.00 cb earning *Assuming min 21 days notification, likely these changes will take effect from Feb 2024. p/s: Not sure if this copy will be final or WIP prior to announcement/effective date. ![]() - Removed govt spend & utilities exclusion table - Removed ewallet exclusion clause But the exclusion still available on the website, abit contradicting https://www.maybank2u.com.my/maybank2u/mala...tinum_card.page? ![]() ![]() |

hello all, just checking if anyone facing this issue as me. may i check why maybank always rejects my application for credit limit increase?
i have 2 HSBC at 80k credit limit each (for personal and for wife) and 1 maybank at 20k limit. as this is a business expense card, it usually hits 24k per months and its never missed a payment before. im trying to request a increase to 25k but always comes back decline. |
