If it utilizes your limit in the sense that you have to pay it later, it is a credit card

So BP is a debit card if you really need to tell the cashier

Might be one of the reasons but not necessarily true for all, I tried before at McD kiosk, failed but when I waive my credit card, passed. The card I used already used wave before

Quick answer: SSPN-i online portal only allows FPX while SSPN-i Plus allows credit card.

Found debit card exchange rate still the lowest.

Today found settlement date on 26 Dec 2018 with GBP1 = RM5.315 while BP with same settlement date with RM5.331...

Maybe only computerized terminal needs to define debit/credit card. Today i went to some shop that manually key in the figure to charge, they don't need to know debit or credit card.

The in-app Live Chat, I cannot let the app run in background while I do other things? First it says I will be served shortly with 6 visitors in waiting. Once I go back to the chat, the automated message disappeared. Not sure if I should continue staring at the blank chat.

U can leave the app and do other things. When someone replied your chat then you will get normal notification like how u get app notification.

Actually I also didn't receive notification but I managed to check the app at the right time.

That's weird. I always leave my phone and when I heard notification then I only open the app to check the reply haha. I'm using android. Not sure about iPhone.

The only time I get email telling me it's expired is when no one replied my chat and it timed out.

I'm using Android too. Anyway, since I have reported my issue then I'm OK with it.

The reason given is that they have different terminal for different card type.
That's why they need to know what is type of card. Unfortunately I've forgotten which merchant.

Sidenote: I remember Giant has different terminal for AMEX and VISA/MasterCard, but for above, cant remember, sorry
