You can top up your Bigpay using credit card up to maximum of RM10k/month.
There is NO limit on top ups using bank transfer and debit cards, but the maximum amount your account can hold is RM10,000 at any one time.

period: 1 calendar month
payment mode: credit card
payment type: reload
maximum: RM10,000

it doesnt matter how much you've withdrawn before. keyword is reload + credit card

thanks guys... i was just thinking to exploit the loophole... apparently we can't do that tongue.gif

Is it still possible to top up to bigpay using credit card, then transfer all to Boost and then withdraw to Bank? That way I can save RM6, just pay RM2 or something to Boost?
*
QUOTE(David83 @ Dec 19 2018, 07:29 PM)
A lot of people have been doing that in here.
Overdoing may be flagged and subject for review by BigPay and Boost team.

Some people reported that they have hard time to get successful withdrawal at Boost.
Please visit the Boost thread.

what is the advantage of doing this (credit card --> bigpay --> boost --> bank)? why not topup boost directly using credit card and directly withdraw to bank account?

No issue with big pay, my experience is they will reverse back in case of fraud

Can elaborate more about your fraud case? This kind of things make me hesitate to keep fund in BP 🤔

If it deducts your readily available fund, it is a debit card

If it utilizes your limit in the sense that you have to pay it later, it is a credit card

So BP is a debit card if you really need to tell the cashier

Just made a purchase of £65.67 with BP card

There were 2 options for me : direct BP or Paypal that binds with BP

PayPal quoted RM359, while BP charged me RM344.43 only

That is more than 4% less  drool.gif

Always use paypal with bank conversion. So you will get both paypal protection and cheaper exchange rate.

Any idea how many days 0.9% cashback for reloading BP using ocbc titanium will appear in recent transaction? So far I received only 0.1% and after 3 days still no sign of extra 0.9% cashback. Usually it will only take 1 day after statement date. This is the first time i did not receive the extra 0.9% and also first statement with BP topup so it’s quite weird.

I got mine 0.9% today, appeared in the list of unbilled transaction. Please check yours

Dont overspend (too much BP top up) with OCBC T, else OCBC might flag ur transaction as "not for personal use" and hence not eligible for 1% cashback
*
Thanks for your info. Checked just now and got mine too.
Why do they want to mark the transaction as not personal use? It’s not their business anyway 😅

i'm using BP mainly for overseas online shopping due to its low exchange rate.. i don't mind if CC reload doesn't entitle for cashback... but if the new MCC code is treated as cash advance then i will definitely stop using BP

OIC! lol. I'm not against bp. I know cc has limited to per day refuel long ago for security reason. They will call us to confirm once we make another refuel at within a short period.  But bp is a prepaid card, how you say of it? For security reason too??? lol.
*
You do know we can topup BP using credit card right? And you do know why we use credit card to topup this prepaid card right?

I can confirm no cashback for Boost topup using CIMB. Not sure about BP because it is neither in YES nor NO list.

guys, anyone here using ***** card to top up BP?

Does topping up entitled the 2% rebate?

edit after search**
conclusion. C**B sucks. sucks to the max. pai kia bank nuff said.

Just sharing an idea.

For cimb petronas card, you can get 7% cashback for anything spent at petronas provided the statement balance must be at least rm3000. So what i did i filled up petronas and use the remaining to topup bigpay/boost and make my statement ngam2 rm3000 every month.
