But BigPay knows your credit card address that you used? hmm.gif

David u know just now I tried to ask then to revert back my triple charge right? The CS so stupid asked me about my CC number, expiry date, my address and etc. Then I stopped him there before he ask for my cvc lol. Why he need all my CC info to revert my payment, it is in their system. He just need to know last 4 digits. He think I stupid 😅😅 so dodgy

Tried to slot and pin my BP card yesterday at a random accessories shop, transaction failed even though sufficient funds...end up have to use the credit card...this BP is not reliable.

QUOTE(David83 @ Dec 20 2018, 10:41 AM)
Could be the terminal doesn't support prepaid card.
*
I think you would be better off paying with CC if it is with more perks.

BPay points system is not attractive, RM 20 Spend = 1 point.
1 AA big point - RM0.01 puke.gif

So if u pay RM100 u get RM0.05 only. dont be fooled by their marketing.

Hi all,

I will be going to Bangkok tomorrow and I have to pay for my hotel room at the property for THB24000.

May I know is it advisable to load up my BigPay and use to pay for it, or use credit card straight, or use cash @ 12.92/100THB?
*
QUOTE(tohff7 @ Dec 20 2018, 03:04 PM)
For about RM3k++, I would used my best CC to collect points. Higher bonus points usually for overseas spending

BigPay will save you the convenience of holding so much cash, while the rates should be competitive
*
If the Bpay rate is good when u arrived, then just use CC top up Bpay (get cc point) > pay using big pay with gd rates.(get BigPoints)

kill 2 birds with one stone la brother.

for Alliance You.nique card , 3% cash back but need to spend 2001-3000,
which means we  top up 900 to bigpay, then remaining 1.1k to buy other things?

and it says >3k will be 0.3% unlimited cash back , but 0.3% of 3k is only rm9 , how does the mechanism work?
*
go to CC section to ask. read the thread title!

Big Pay customer service is pretty useless.... I tried to top up my Big Pay card with RM 1,000. Big Pay app had a message and said error, didn't go through and asked me to try again. So, I did.. 2nd time went through... then 10 minutes later, the 1st one also went through. So now I have RM2,000 topped up.

I emailed support and they said they cannot cancel the topped up since it went through and asked me to withdraw from ATM. I said okay but will Big Pay absorb or waive the RM6 ATM fee... they said No .... they took almost 3 days to respond.
*
exactly same thing happened to me 2 days ago, mine even worst, 3 times puke.gif . But i asked to escalate to a manager. It is their app delay issue, why should we bare the cost? Stupid BP

the other day when someone redeemed my referral (only one), there was a banner to ask me to change to the new wave card for free. i was thinking about it, and after a few days it's gone.
*
What is the new wave card? You mean contactless? Isn't the current big card already support master card wave?

They only introduced Paywave like 3 months ago. Those with older card have to refer 2 friends to change to the new contactless card for free. Or Pay RM20
*
QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Dec 22 2018, 07:10 PM)
yup. but i was one of the early adopters when it didn't have the contactless function yet. for us, we need to refer or pay rm20 for the new card.
*
Wah I didn't know that. I signed up recently.
But it is totally ridiculous to pay RM20, they should consider waive the fee for old loyal customers. I feel sorry

Last update as it's finally shown as settled in Bpay. Exchange rate is 3.772 for 100Yen.so money changer is still better but it's  only 0.5%. Less hassle if withdraw via Bpay and don't have to carry so much cash. Withdraw when you need when traveling.
*
I will be taking my Bpay to overseas for the first time. I m wondering how do i check in the app everyday on the exchange rates? in which part of the app will it show?

So only can withdraw money from ATM? maximum withdraw is RM3k?
*
QUOTE(talexeh @ Dec 26 2018, 04:30 PM)
Depends on the ATM's capability. Max reported so far are RM4K & you can search this thread for clues on which ATM can dispense this amount. Most ATMs dispense 30 * RM50 notes though.
*
Read post #1, there is a list of Atm location along with their max dispensed amount. Highest reported was RM5000 at Genting, if u wanna travel there to save RM6 fee tongue.gif

Why not just say "pakai kad"?

I guess it's self explanatory right? Cashiers will figure it out anyways, prepaid card = debit card

I've never experienced the time when I have to tell the cashier what kind of card I'm using to pay.
*
True that let cashier figure it out.

On a side note, not every prepaid card = debit card.
For example cimb lazada prepaid card is actually a credit card. It is stated in the Tnc of cimb to choose "credit card" when buying online. So yeah very confusing indeed all these terms 😂😂😂

The in-app Live Chat, I cannot let the app run in background while I do other things? First it says I will be served shortly with 6 visitors in waiting. Once I go back to the chat, the automated message disappeared. Not sure if I should continue staring at the blank chat. laugh.gif
*
U can leave the app and do other things. When someone replied your chat then you will get normal notification like how u get app notification.

Actually I also didn't receive notification but I managed to check the app at the right time.
*
That's weird. I always leave my phone and when I heard notification then I only open the app to check the reply haha. I'm using android. Not sure about iPhone.

The only time I get email telling me it's expired is when no one replied my chat and it timed out.

using what cc?

try check the respective Internet Banking if the charges has been authorised. else, call CS to find out.

also, can wait for a bit to see if the topup pushed to bigpay.

dont reload again until you're certain the prev reload is unsuccessful.
*
cybpsych, bro he is talking about reloading Boost using BigPay card. No banks Involved here sweat.gif

icebryanchan, I'm having same issue since last night. Contact BP they said there might be some network interference at their end. Until now still same... Also when I try adding BP card I didnt receive the OTP from BigPay at all. Did u at least receive OTP?
