Starbucks card online failed oh, mind to try again as you going to report for refund. Appreciate. Will add this to post #01 if confirmed failed.
Hi, I assume you are both new users of BP and UOB Payonline. UOB pay online does have delay in sending notification email on payment approval status. I guess not the BP problem.

Eh. I already got my refund month ago after i reported dispute, just a hassle to try again.

It's just a normal top up after OTP key in the app keep reloading and after awhile it's back to the top up screen but no notification of top up is successful.

I've check with BigPay, they say the transaction is through and some system problem so the top up will be reflected in the next 48 hours.

I see. Don't know that MasterCard has a digital wallet too named MasterPass. PaiSeh.
By the way, as understand from Jonathan's writing, the card replacement will be a fee until later they will inform free for existing users.

fruitie too used to getting free things liao =)

I don't see the attractiveness of waving anyway. When I can use I use, if not it's not a big hassle. Convenience benefit is small, not enough for me to pay a fee to replace the card.

I'm with you on this. Paypass is not as widely acceptable as Paywave.

It is a + point if have features like paywave where you can pay at places like McD drive through easily biggrin.gif

Oh glad to hear that, yes I'm new to both. Today received e-mail confirmation from payonline, amount also deducted from BigPay but when I click on the transaction on BigPay, it showed "pending". Anyway will check bill statement later see if it went through.

Is this card still unable to make payment at myeg? Planning to use it for car insurance and road tax renewal the end of this month.

for car insurance, use it directly at insurer website that accept bigpay.

The moment you receive an email from PayOnline saying the transaction is "Approved", you can consider it is cleared already.
ALL transactions in BigPay (or even any other credit card) will not be cleared instantaneously after a card is charged. Transactions originating from other than card issuing country of origin will take longer to clear as compared to local transactions.

IN thailand now and just out of curiosity , used the card to buy a can of coke at family mart. Able to use even for that 1 transaction. And the exchange rate is not bad.
As for Eateries , some charge extra 3% , so I pay cash for these places.

As for Eateries , some charge extra 3% , so I pay cash for these places.

Wont be so fast. Now out station. Got to wait till i return only can go check the mail box. Hopefully the delivery man can dump it in the mail box instead of asking me take the chit to go to their center to collect.
