Anyone pay at http://payonline.com.my before? Made a payment there, think it said payment was successful but it didn't show in the "past transactions" record. Also not deducted from my BigPay account too. So the payment is not immediate?

After reading so many glitches on BigPay, really have low confidence using it. So far using Boost without any problem. Fave is equally good. WeChat probably the worst.

It was my first time using bigpay at payonline.com.my too. I made 2 DBKL assessment, 1 maxis yesterday morning around 11am. The deduction was not immediate. Received confirmation email from payonline today around 2pm, followed by deduction from BP. No confirmation email & deduction from BP on the 2 DBKL assessment. Am wondering if it goes through...

Wait, we will get the free replacement rclxm9.gif

Less than 24h, but we'll be implementing soon a procedure that should make document verification close to instantaneous.
Where did you read that? PayWave & PayPass are just technologies that allow the NFC chip to communicated with the terminal. You can pay anywhere where the little network is displayed.

Also guys, we haven't forgotten existing users. Right now, you can either get your card replaced for a fee or wait for a bit until we communicate the roll out plan for everyone smile.gif

Can I check with you guys in here...is it worthwhile to withdraw money in local currency when in overseas?

Is it still cheaper than exchange money in Msia money changer? I read some posts the bank charges quite high rate and maybe it's more worthwhile to just change it while in Msia...

I don't see any benefit from WeChat, all other e-wallet have a key selling point, but WeChat really limited

If you get BigPay card and withdraw from atm overseas, you will get more or less money changer rate provided you select local currencies (USD, GBP, etc).

Of course you kena charge I think RM10 + atm fees if the overseas bank atm want to charge you. But definitely cheaper than use Malaysian bank atm card to withdraw.

Not sure now is it fixed, after that I never use BP card to reload then.

in fact, as long as the site accepts mastercard, it shouldn't be a problem. rarely any sites mention prepaid card specifically.

Bro, you got the new card with PayPass feature ? How much to replace?
Which merchant you failed to use and what error? Terminal by bank of?

Tax wifi, mind to share more details as below so I could add to post #01.
Thanks

Should have captured all that reported here in Lyn in post #01.

Appreciate member to report here on failed/unsuccessful transaction/not applicable.

• Offline POS Swipe:
Where/which merchant
Terminal of what bank
If possible what error shown on the terminal

• Online Merchant:
Which website/online store
What payment gateway
Screenshot of the error msg

Thanks.

Suggest member attempt to try again and report back, as they might become applicable after awhile as we hope bigpay staff who monitoring here and there would have started taking action for improvement.

Hi, I assume you are both new users of BP and UOB Payonline. UOB pay online does have delay in sending notification email on payment approval status. I guess not the BP problem.

He didn't mention anything about PayPass? Also Jonathan mentioned will be free for existing users.
