iOS users will have to wait for Apple Pay while Android users will have to wait for Android Pay for this concept to be mainstream. Otherwise, Visa PayWave and Mastercard Contactless will still be preferred by the majority.

Just tried to use my new card trying to pay via contactless but it failed. Does it require some sort of activation? Have to use PIN for now.

After key-in credit card OTP but it loads very long and then it says there was an error. So have to wait whether it was really charged to my card first? If charged but not credited to my BigPay then only file a report or is BigPay’s system able to detect discrepancy and credit it to account automatically?

I contact them via Facebook Messenger. They require name and phone number to identify your account.

Your Malaysian number needs to be roaming to receive the SMS. You can turn off data roaming so that you won't incur any roaming charges, receiving SMS is free.

I believe the limit is with the ATM machine instead, in fact majority of machines are limited to 1.5k per withdrawal.

I believe BigPay has increased the timeout time, I think I saw a small note that says payment process may take up to 120 seconds, which is 2 minutes. So do not quit or hit cancel before that as I believe it’ll reattempt to connect to the server until 120 seconds are up.

You can also drop them a message on Facebook, they can check on their system and confirm with you if there are any “floating” topup, if there is it will be consolidated and reflected in your account within 24 hours.
