any recommended widescreen witth HDCP and HDMI input? wanna pair it with my future PS3.

Since you didn't state your budget, I would recommend Toshiba Regza 42WLT66 Full HD LCD TV. The size is just nice for PS3.

Dell SE198WFP 19" Widescreen is 6-bit TN panel. If i'm not mistaken only Ultrasharp model is 8-bit and non-TN panel.

AFAIK, there is no delivery on weekends. Dell are not open on weekends. Anyway, you can arrange a date with them to deliver the LCD or ask someone to receive it from you..

Does that includes saturday? Cause I got mine last saturday. Normally the delivery will be done by 3rd party transporter.. not by Dell.

Anyone using this wide screen monitor: Dell E228WFP 22"?
Is it good to bundle with the speaker? because i plan to purchase with my credit card via flexi payment, the catch is i need to spent 1k on the item in order to get the 0% installment. any advice whether i should proceed with the speaker or look for other item> ?

Added on July 22, 2007, 1:07 amalso may i ask, the dell 22" support 1680 X1050. How can i check my graphic card can handle it? By the way, i'm using ati9550.
i check under Display properties, the closest to i can get is 1600 x 1200. The highest can go is 2048 X 1536.
if my gc canno support 1680X1050 is it ok?

Don't worry. After you hooked up your DELL 228WFP and update your graphics card driver, you will see 1680x1050 reso.

Yes. Just go to www.ati.com and download the latest driver. Seriously, don't get the soundbar. It sucks so bad that I wanted to throw it out from my window the minute I got mine last year. Get something else.

I don't think you will need to update any VGA driver at first. Just hook up your monitor and your VGA card will display the native resolution of your monitor. I switched from Samsung 172x to E228WFP without updating the VGA driver. Don't worry nonadoes, it will be a smooth transition. Just plug, play and view tongue.gif

The Dell 2407-HC is your best bet, the best panel for your budget, plus it has all the inputs you need for your PS3. All other PVA based are easily above 2k, and the other panels in your budget range are TN-based.

SE198WFP, Dell stated that as "entry model" means its using TN panel.

TN panel is just fine for the rest of us, just they have lesser color dynamic range and poorer viewing angle, but it really is just fine for the rest of us biggrin.gif

Only if u re those photographer that using DSLR, then IPS or MVA panels suits you better.

but IPS/MVA panel has longer response time, which is not so good for gamers.
