QUOTE(The Scent LYN @ Jun 27 2007, 08:31 PM) I need ur help guys. I wanna know, how much a 22" Samsung/Viewsonic LCD will be cheaper compared to market price during PIKOM PC Fair based on ur past experience? Thanks! but is that recommended to buy LCD in pc fair? because the booth are smaller, and more people are coming, I don't think they will allow you to test it on the spot

guys, between 19" LG L196WTQ-WF and Samsung 931BW, which one is better ? L196WTQ has 3000:1 contrast ratio compare to Samsung's 2000:1 , will that be enough to judge that LG is better than Samsung?
and what's the difference between L196WTQ and L196WT?
design wise, Samsung is way nicer though, pricewise, LG is cheaper by rm30

QUOTE(heterosapiens @ Jun 28 2007, 10:48 PM) Viewnet is selling Dell in their price list. DELL E177FP 17" 8MS - - 554 DELL E197FP 19" 8MS - - 659 DELL SE198WFP 19" 5MS DVI HDCP 639 DELL SP1908FP 19" 5MS DVI USB 699 DELL E228WFP 22" 5MS DVI HDCP 949 DELL 2407WFP U.SHARP 24" 6MS DVI INPUT 1999 beware that those might be refurbished unit. As Dell will not sell any of their new products through any outlets. This means that the LCD sold in there might not have Dell full warranty.

QUOTE(clayclws @ Jun 29 2007, 04:31 AM) my bad but here QUOTE Dell indicated that it was already in touch with several big-box retailers and that there would be an aggressive push into the retail channel. can any LYP store can be called as "big-box" retailers? Does Dell Malaysia has followed the decisions of their HQ? its still a better idea to ask that ViewNet before buying. This post has been edited by dattebayo: Jun 29 2007, 08:05 AM

hoho... while a large monitor is best for movie viewing, and that only if u re sitting quite a distance from the monitor. But when comes to gaming, and normal usage where u can't sit too far from the screen, anything greater than 22" will make our eyes tiresome, due to increase in eyeball movement and neck movement. just my opinion. just to add: if got 1:1 mapping, means that if we set the 1280x1024 resolution on a wide screen, the screen will just positioned in center and no stretching at all?
btw, LG L196WT have 1:1 mapping or not?

erm... I seen many ppl complaining over the Chimei panel of the newer samsung lcd. What concern me is , do we notice the difference that much compare to S panel, under normal situation , means we not deliberately to find its error spot or so.. just very normal gaming, movie, surfing
any samsung 226bw/931bw C panel user here can share?
