QUOTE(justicevin @ Apr 9 2008, 06:57 PM) I am not sure about those card. But the main concern is you are underage, I don't know whether they will let you check in a not. Please do read the T&C before you make any booking and payment. As what I know, credit card and check in must be the same person. |

Hi all,
Are there any Debit Mastercard that has no annual fee or fee waiver with/without condition? I only know for Visa, MVD is free for life and PBVE fee waiver if yearly spending >1k... Thanks. |

PBVE is the best choice so far, but bad experience for me nonetheless... refer past posts from me for more... but still I give them the benefit of the doubt. they do have a good reputation as the best debit card around.

You may also register for Public Bank online banking so that you can view your Visa Electron card details such as balance available and recent transactions made. How to register for public bank online for public bank visa electron? When i go to the atm and insert my card it does not have the function to register pb ebanking. Please help.... |

I purchase Ambank NexG on wednesday last week. I fill in the form and send the form at the Ambank branch itself. So I was told that it would take 4 workings day to be activate. Fine, i waited for 4 days.
I called again on Monday. Guess what, they just received the form on Friday and they havent put the data in the system yet. THe lady over the phone promise me it will take another 4 workings day. I was very furious. I rants and rants to her. Poor her. I didnt mean to but they were just slow in activating my card. Then I decided to call yesterday, to my delight I was told that it would be activated today. I'm so happy over the news but still a bit skeptical though. So i call again today. The first staff told me it would not be activated unless I fax my details on a piece of paper to them. I told her there was no where in their website telling me to do that and i wasn't inform when i handing over the registration form. She insisted that is the protocol and most likely the branch still haven't got the news yet. I wasnt satisfied with her answer. So i called up the branch that i went to and they told me there was no such thing. So i called again the HQ. Now another staff telling me my card is almost ready except I have to wait for another 4 workings day so that whoever is in charge to authorizing the card to be use can do the damn job. So basically there is no improvement at all. He told me that Ambank will call me when the card is being activated. FAT CHANCE! I wish i keep the name of all the personnel i've talked with so that i can complain about them though. Misleading and making promise just to make sure we the customer does not going angry. So for anyone else who want to apply for the Ambank NexG, try other card first. My experience with just getting the card activated has been extremely unpleasant and who knows what will i experience once I get the card. I am not going to wait for the card anymore. I will cancel it and try something else. Maybe TuneMoney. I just wasted RM25 and one week with NexG. |
