yep, that will be wise if existing is gud enuf.

actually, for most homes, 50mbps is ideal - speed ok, no need 5ghz, no need to buy own new AC router and/or 5ghz adaptors.

but for heavy users... 4k, heavy streaming/torrenting, gaming i guess... rm10 is great to double up the speed.

Call to try again or march down to a TM Point.. Can get easy.. As long as your infra supports it. Last time I was at HQ, there were legit flyers on the table advertising this. So it's definitely doable..

Hi All,

I just got called from TM, upgraded from 50mbps to 100mbps for +RM20 extra per month and they throw in a free modem with free installation...no contract..

RM199 per month after upgrade before GST... With 600 minutes free call and Ruby pack... Not the cheapest offer, I just found out from this forum... 😅

I receive the same offer last week to top up RM10 for 100Mbps.
But they didn't mention anything about Jumbo package sad.gif

Had they offer Jumbo package as well, I would have accepted it immediately.

Unless you watch HyppTV, else it's a good deal because most of the people here got offer for RM 20 top up recently.

Time to scrutinize the bills.. Download all four, better use a bigger screen. Compare differences and date charges.. You'll find the anomaly. If wrong, report.. Else.. Pay lor.

I got sms to say installation date is tomorrow but until now, no one from TM has called me to set the time.

When I called TM, they are also not sure cos most of the time, the upgrade just needs to restart router.

Anyone here got sms for installation date can clarify
