Have to pay? or foc?

FOC if you renew, so might as well renew and change the STB and router if you are using the old DIR615.

Looks like a power problem. Or the modem died again. Do you have another 12V DC PSU to try?
*
Sadly no.

Oh well, but very strange that the problem keeps happening. Could be power socket problem? Or maybe just a bad luck getting another flaky modem. This one was just replaced last week right? What about the previous one?

A few client got issues when using 100 Mbps cannot get full speed

With Mikrotik you don't need to worry about that

Any model. This one is an old RB750GL from 2011.
https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=87590276

Current RB750Gr3 is good enough for 500Mbps if not 1Gbps.

Good thing that I managed to get a new adapter but the problem still persists and the lights on the modem went wild like the video below. Tried using other power socket still the same problem.
Yeah this one got replaced this Tuesday, the technician took the old modem with him.

It’s not really difficult. Just a bit more steps that’s all. The mikrotik wired router that I have is really good. The same can’t be said for my asus wireless router. The signal sucks. I’m looking for a good wireless router/ap now.

Not really that difficult, but you need to know how to do it and no, Wifi speed will be similar to Asus and TP-Link but you will get more consistent reliable speed.

Which Asus router? I think the Asus RT-AC1300UHP has good signal. Failing that, you can try to use the TP-Link AC3150 v2 that I am using now, as its signal is very strong and comparable to other high end routers.

Here a weird question posed by my neighbours about few websites that can't be opened.

https://feikebt.com/ ----> can't connect?

http://fanfox.net ----> automatic redirection to mangazone?

When using https://hidester.com/proxy/ to access, those two websites load just fine.

Changed DNS servers and cleared the DNS + browser cache too. Can't view the first and getting redirected at second.

Anyone encounter the same problem?
Otherwise, I might need to told them to use proxy server.

What is your unifi IP range?

Mine is 175.140.X.X range.

EDIT: VPN-ed to my second house (unifi too) and it seem I can access the first with IP 175.141.x.x, but getting redirection on second.

Hmm....Guess it is isolated issue for particular IP range, well, seem like I will need to reboot my router tomorrow morning to get different IP range.

I told my second neighbour to use proxy server temporary to access their "favourite" brows.gif website just now.
First neighbour doesn't want me to reboot as he is watching live soccer game now. doh.gif

Hi guys, sorry for this question if u guys have discussed before. Currently im using router given by TM (dlink dir 850l) and im thinking of upgrading to ASUS router. Which one should i pick? ASUS RT-AC1200G+ or ASUS RT-AC58U? My unifi is 100mbps package.
Thanks in advance
*
happy user of ac58u here. awesome. However, there will be no asus merlin firmware support for this model since it is using qualcomm instead of broadloom chip

Nope, too poor for that.

House A = 50 Mbps = shared with two neighbours (two families = 7 + 5 people)
House B = 50 Mbps = shared with two neighbours too ( one family = 4 people on the right. 6 lelaki bujang (policemen) on the left rolleyes.gif )

Couldn't connect initially also. But after going to http://104.27.142.194
and getting the Cloudflare error. https://feikebt.com is loading now.

The other one is redirected to mangazone...
