I subscribed to the year end promotion in december for 30Mb/s (rm139), i signed for that and also was told it was 139 + GST but my first bill came and it was above RM 200. In the breakdown there were 3 costs. Internet, hyppTV jumbo lite, 1 time fee (rm 10). It seems i have been applied to hyppTV jumbo lite without being told or it being mentioned or seen anywhere when applying at tmpoint.

How do i go about this? MCMC is like next door to me.

UniFi package definitely comes with HyppTV. I supposed RM 139 is inclusive of HyppTV already.
Why first month is so expensive, it is because you pay first and use later for UniFi. You are paying for your current month's charges (pro-rated) and full next month. From second month onward, it will be normalized.

Is it possible to downgrade from Thankyou Surprise 50Mbps to Unifi Advance 30Mbps @ RM139? I was chatting with the TM Live Chat Agent and the agent said the 30Mbps @ RM139 is for new installation only  sad.gif

The problem isnt that, its that i am being charged for a hypptv pack when i didnt apply for it. My bill came up above 200 because its the Internet (139) + hypptv package(30+) + 1 time fee (10) + GST

UniFi must come with HyppTV. You cannot not subscribe for it, if it allows, many have ditched it away.
I'm quite sure your bill is prorated + full month. No more 30Mbps for 169. Share your bill here.

Pro rated plus full month because UniFi bayar dulu, guna kemudian. Your HyppTV is RM 30 per month, 6.77 is prorated because this is your first bill.
UniFi package must come with HyppTV. Sekian.

Technicians came and changed the Archer C1200 to Netis DL4480V. The WiFi Optimiser Tool shows that I am connected to Channel 9 and recpmmended Channel is 6. How do I change the channel? Kinda need a step by step guide on this.

Log into your router. 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1. Then proceed to click wireless settings somewhere.

QUOTE(JohnLai @ Jan 12 2018, 03:55 PM)
There are three sides. Permanent or temporary = it depends.

ISP side = IPv6 routing and address delegation issue.

Client side = router/client device with MTU issue (packet fragmentation, packet too large etc), phone OS with IPv6 problem (the legendary wake-lock, older android use SLAAC only), or OS/Firewall etc is blocking IGMPv6.

Server side = some servers misconfigure their IPv6 server, no route to host etc....

QUOTE(voncrane @ Jan 12 2018, 03:57 PM)
It's not a big issue at the moment.. Probably even for a couple years so up to TM & Co to implement properly.. So now it's not a permanent issue for the country. However, if it's due to the specific devices, then well...

No, you don't need a LAN cable to effect such change.. Can be done through wifi. Only time you'd need a LAN cable is to flash firmwares and perform initial setup.. It's recommended. Besides, if Hypptv is installed then, there must be a LAN cable at your place.
*
QUOTE(SilentVampire @ Jan 12 2018, 04:58 PM)
See below for an excellent explanation from bro JohnLai. As other forumers have said, you don't need to buy a LAN cable to connect laptop to router and you can do it wirelessly.
Great explanation bro. Will have to steal this to explain to some other newbies in the future lol  rclxms.gif

I'm sure it's just a typo and that you mean ICMPv6 right?

Guys since it is ipv6 fault i can't load up certain web sites on some devices at home. Should i report it to TM to do something to fix it or just continue to disable the ipv6 on my hand phone???

Don't bother to report.

Disable IPv6 at the router.
I doubt one can disable IPv6 at smartphone level (android and IOS don't have the option to disable IPv6)

TM won’t fix the fault. It requires system wide implementation, and it will have to be done large-scale. Just disable IPv6 in your router.

My c1200 just freeze just like that when i am streaming to the youtube. The "PC" icon on the taskbar shows connected and I've to go manually reboot the router again. currently on 175 ip. 3 weeks running successfully with the beta firmware, today only such unwanted problem occurs.

Their billing system is going haywire from adding and subtracting figures unnecessarily.. My latest bill is out and I'm still battling with them to rectify false charges... vmad.gif
