Hi guys, wanna ask right.. When we subscribed UniFi we were given the DIR 615 which is quite old now. Considering that WPA2 is cracked now, is there another router available from TM officially? Otherwise would you advise to replace this DIR 615 with a third party router that will have the latest security updates? Thanks!

they don't give you 615 anymore.The attack exploits vulnerabilities in the 4-way handshake of the WPA2 protocol, a security handshake that ensures client and access points have the same password when joining a Wi-Fi network.Keep praying that all the vendors will update the firmware.

Actually my 10mbps is enough for surf net and download movie.

The installer told me that my house can only use max 10mbps coz the line was not good.

You should have replaced the router regardless of whether WPA2 is cracked or not as your specific router, the DIR-615L, is one of the worst routers out there in terms or vulnerabilities. I would recommend switching to TP-Link or Asus if you have the budget, otherwise get ready to be compromised

anyone here can download torrent using unifi? im on 30mbps and for some reason . could not download torrent this few days.

im using xunlei VIP to download torrents. and gave error could not download

It's xunlei issue...whole wolrd cannot download with xunlei, as they already start to block illegal torrent content due to the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China meeting. Hopefully after that will get back to normal.

xunlei downloader torrent content had been blocked on 13/10/17. It's happening once few years back before. Some solution of this issue on http://www.hao6v.com/dy/2017-06-27/29366.html. Alternative way, can try utorrent.
