Last year before budget announcement for unifi speed upgrade, they already start upgrade vip 5 to vip 10.

Good that they are so "efficient", no?

this unifi free upgrade... either it sucks becos they dun know how to do it well or they are deliberately stalling, biz smart for a reason.

they probably know from market research that their monopoly is still giving them a major advantage to work it to their advantage.

i.e., u dun like, u can go... whatever motive they have.

i was upgraded from 30 to 50mbps april 2017, in selangor.

price rm169 with a decent hypptv pack, no free calls.

i always pay my bill on time for the last 6 years, never fail.

i wanna upgrade to 100mbps, waiting for good offer.

new promo is out, must be one of the cheapest promo i ever seen.no info in tm.com.my yet. but already available at their reseller site.

vip 10 to advance 30, the CS say it's considered as downgrade, so might not be able to change all new equipments.

I dont know, will update tomorrow if they let me change equipment.

Im gonna pack my old router and hypptv stb and bring it to tm point to change package and ask them to change the parts as well.

FYI, Bonanza doesn't come with free call plan Voice STD 20. You pay per use.

just came back from tm point, system not ready to "upgrade" for existing users (that do not have contract) yet, system only ready to register for new users. all i did was let them verify my status and took my thumbprint, then they say they will check with HQ for clarification, most probably next week only settle.

no point bringing old equipments to tm point, they can't change it there. but the staff mentioned that once my contract is renewed, i can call 100 and they will send someone to change the equipments as there are settings to be done by the technicians.

for existing users that are now advance 50 due to free upgrade from advance 30 but still under contract, they said no way to change back to advance 30 for RM139, but you can write a letter to "complain".

Yes.  Their definition of upgrade is you pay more regardless of the speed.  Live chat told my account will not be considered an upgrade (VIP10 to Adv Pro: 10mbps to 30mbps) as i'll be paying RM139 from the current RM149.  So if i want it, need to terminate and apply.  But it can be done seamlessly at TMPoint and there will be no gaps/service interruption.  I guess it's limitation in their system.

Not yet... maybe tomorrow or next saturday only can go to tmpoint... weekdays in office whole day..   

The CS at my tm point keep saying cannot do for me now (vip 10 to advance 30), he say hq said next week only can.

What a freaking waste of time.

No change of equip and no visit from tm at all. Yes the contract is reset again for 2 years.
