im using unifi, but tm dont have new firmware. still using 2016 firmware

new firmware isn't exactly necessary if the router works just fine, like pc bios, if it works for you don't touch it

Anyone here received their 50 to 100 free upgrade recently during tm maintenence but never receive call from tm to arrange installation or new equipment? Because my BTU only support 10/100 base-t. I called up few times yesterday, one of the cs told me their system is down, others said is under maintenance and all the calls I made they said they're unable to check for me and can't send technician to come until the system is up. Also, one of them told me before mentioning the system is down or maintenence, said you can't change unless you're getting 80mb and below in the speedtest result. Right now I'm stuck like this, just worried if I make a claim for new equipments, my contract will be refreshed.

EDIT : Sorry, forgot to mention, it's from free upgrade campaign.

Guys... just got my free upgrade from 20mbps to 50mbps... however... got some weird reading with my 2 routers... when I tested on my TPLink TL-WR1043N got reading of around 48mbps... but when I use my Asus RT-1200G+ can only get around 12-15mbps... Anyone knows why...?

If the FDP already hung on the pole, normally how long will it take before I can subscribe?

Just terminated mine.. Bring your modem. Tip: try giving them without the adaptor first.. In my case, they didnt even ask for the adaptor.. Just keep as spare.

Btw, i got an sms that my vip 5 was finally upgraded 1 day after i terminated it. Epic fail.

U might try use lan cable to test.

I was so excited about the increased download speed that I didnt even notice the upload speed. I used lan cable on that test. Looks like i might have to bitch at tm again lol

Router depends on the stock of the contractor, normally is the newest but cant guarantee.
