hi all...i changed to unifi lite before they are able to move/maintain the copper line to Unifi...
so today i have 2 numbers...1 old copper line number, paying RM1 a month...and then another number at Unifi....
Can i still request TM to just move my old number to unifi now and cancel the unifi number? anyone tried this before? Basically i prefer the line at unifi, clearer and stable, my copper line will be down from time to time, especially when raining a lot...likelihood the connection outside my home will have problem and i need to call support...

I'm always wondering, If i have existing Streamyx + phoneline blockbuster, if I subscribed UniFi someday am I able to transfer the existing copper phone line number to new digital phoneline comes with unifi? if cannot, what to do if i want to keep the existing copper phone line? pay how much?

QUOTE(mztang52 @ Aug 15 2017, 10:45 PM) If you want to take UniFi, you have to bundle one thing with it, either HyppTV or webe. There's no option for you to remove the bundle. Even TM staff themselves also have to take HyppTV together with UniFi. Or else, HyppTV and webe will just be a failure. Who wants the HyppTV when the TV channels are so boring. It is just a tactic for them to earn more money and also a boost up for their yearly profit, so that their business growth statistic and the annual report will be nicer. HENCE, the fact is you can't remove hypptv even after the contract ends. IMO It must be a reason why contract term for HyppTV is only 12 months. Who knows 12 months from now, you can unbundle HyppTV and opt for Webe, or bundle with some other things more interesting (eg Netflix, mobile internet etc), or TM sell naked internet then to kill Streamyx 1/2Mbps.

You can move the number from Copper to Unifi now at TM Point. TM will charge RM25 for the relocation. If I am not wrong, RM1/month for additional number had been increased to RM25/month.

U must have done your installation b4 1July like mine. Cos After 1July TM allows new Unifi Lite installation to use back the old copper line number as the VOIP number. Earlier installation needs to pay a 1 time charge of rm25 to do that but I appealed for it to be waived. If approved d waiver will be reflected in my bill. No more rm1 or rm25 monthly rental. VIP HyppTV also got 12 month contract. Anyone on VIP tried to cancel their HyppTV subscription? By now surely most VIP subscribers already exceeded 12 months service (I think HyppTV on Advance also got same 12 month contract)

I don't think this list is accurate. We do have webe here in Langkawi but there is no Langkawi in the list. Btw, just got my Unifi Lite package since last Friday after being a Streamyx customer for almost 10 years. 1Mb -> 4Mb -> 8Mb

Now I am using Unifi Lite which was finally installed last Sunday, after 2 failed attempts to install the service. First time installer came to my house, he found out there were no free ports for me. Second time when a port was free for me, installer discovered some moron blocked the DP pathway with cement. After TM workers cleared the cement then I finally got my Unifi Lite installed. Now I am finally free from the low speed & high price of streamyx.

A question while waiting for the installer to come my home, will the router provided good enough or should I buy a better router on my own? Seems like there are a few different router to be provided based on stock availability, is any of them particularly better (that I can just keep using it for some time) or terrible (that I should get a better router as soon as possible)?
