Is this 10mbps package going to be available forever? no deadline offer?
*
No, definitely not. It won't always stay at 10Mbps. 10 years later, we shall be at 100Mbps-1Gbps or no speed cap.

Holy crab, DiGi already provide DiGi Infinite150. Depends on coverage. Remember that unifi lite with fiber cable is always much more stable than wireless ya.
I wonder why must we pay for that RM30 shit hypptv channels? Old movies nv update that decades ago... Why force us buy it? Shit TM la
*
2015-2016: When most of you paid RM140-160 for Streamyx 4/8Mbps, you hoped you could get Unifi VIP5 at RM149.
Early 2017: Most of you hoped you could get Unifi 10Mbps at RM149.
April 2017 (when Unifi RM149 is available): Most of you hoped you could get Unifi Lite 10Mbps at RM129, without free calls.
After first Unifi Lite bill appeared (when Unifi RM129 is available): Most of you hoped you could get naked Internet at RM99!

Maybe in 2018-19 (When Unifi RM100 is available): Most of you will hope get naked Internet at RM50.
...... Future: Free.

Greed is part of human nature!

RM30 (hyppTV) x 12 months (minimum 12 months charge) x 1,000,000 (Unifi users) = RM360mil ++.
I don't mind this extra charge for 2017~18 if TM needs our contribution for FTTH/VDSL expansion (HSBB2/SUBB).

This is the dumbest statement I've ever seen,
Take your TM fanboyism elsewhere
*
All the while we indirectly paid for copper cable theft and vandalism, RM50mil/year.
Paying for new fibre cable is better than reinstalling copper cables.

Dear all,

I just subscribed "UNIFI LITE 10MBPS   RUBY - Q2 2017 CAMPAIGN (JUMBO BREAKOUT) (RM129 / MONTH)", is it true that this package only comes with Unifi Internet subscription and no voice call & Hyppe TV STB?

Your clarification is much appreciated. Thank you.
*
You enjoy 3 items:-
Internet (RM99): Download 10Mbps, Upload 5Mbps.
HyppTV (RM30): HyppTV Everywhere (Ruby pack), instead of HyppTV STB.
Voice (from RM0, variable charge): A Telephone number for you to receive calls (free) or make call at 10sen per 30 seconds (calls to TM numbers is not free).

for the hypptv,
so we have to buy another tv box to install unifi apk?
*
Use PC (hypptv.tm.com.my), smart phones, tablets (HyppTV Everywhere app).
For TV box and Unifi apk, our friends here had long discussion earlier and spare some time to read what they had shared.

In the bill stated that the unifi lite 10mbps is actually rm99 only. Plus hypptv ruby pack rm30. Total is RM129. Is there anyway I can remove the hypptv pack? I'm not using it anyway. Just need the internet.
*
You have agreed to pay for HyppTV for 12 months, so if you cancel HyppTV you need to pay the penalty. If you don't want HyppTV, you shall get another bundle, Webe together with Unifi Lite Internet (no HyppTV) for RM178 (RM99+RM79).

No problem. Most marketing agents will try not to sell the Lite package as commission will be of course lesser than then advance package.
Nope, not even TM staff can get the lite package without hypp tv as its part of the bundled services. Staff will get their staff priced packages.
*
Unifi Lite without HyppTV is now available, but bundled with Webe (RM99+RM79).

Its available already? Then those who have a need for celular network can choose this.
*
Can choose Unifi Entertainment pack (minimum RM129) or Unifi Mobility Pack (Minimum RM178). But for those already signed up RM129, 12 months contract or penalty for remaining terms for HyppTV.

If you want to take UniFi, you have to bundle one thing with it, either HyppTV or webe. There's no option for you to remove the bundle. Even TM staff themselves also have to take HyppTV together with UniFi. Or else, HyppTV and webe will just be a failure. Who wants the HyppTV when the TV channels are so boring. It is just a tactic for them to earn more money and also a boost up for their yearly profit, so that their business growth statistic and the annual report will be nicer. HENCE, the fact is you can't remove hypptv even after the contract ends.
*
IMO It must be a reason why contract term for HyppTV is only 12 months. Who knows 12 months from now, you can unbundle HyppTV and opt for Webe, or bundle with some other things more interesting (eg Netflix, mobile internet etc), or TM sell naked internet then to kill Streamyx 1/2Mbps.

hi all...i changed to unifi lite before they are able to move/maintain the copper line to Unifi...

so today i have 2 numbers...1 old copper line number, paying RM1 a month...and then another number at Unifi....

Can i still request TM to just move my old number to unifi now and cancel the unifi number? anyone tried this before? Basically i prefer the line at unifi, clearer and stable, my copper line will be down from time to time, especially when raining a lot...likelihood the connection outside my home will have problem and i need to call support...
*
You can move the number from Copper to Unifi now at TM Point. TM will charge RM25 for the relocation. If I am not wrong, RM1/month for additional number had been increased to RM25/month.

No hidden charge....unless if you selected the wrong Hypptv pack....or you forgot about GST..... RM129 is GST-exclusive.

Or if you plan to terminate existing streamyx and wanna maintain old phone number and take advantage of RM1 (instead of RM26 phone line rental).....
*
No longer RM1 since July. Back to normal, line rental is now RM25 for PSTN.
Use old number and port into Unifi, instead of keeping old number at PSTN.
