I am looking forward to downgrade as well as my contract ends soon. Any TM agent can PM me to assist? Or I need to go TM Point on my own?

The router you bought with your own pocket money u tak payah bagi TM la.Still need to return the router? Is it the one fiber connects in? If not, I am using my own router instead of TM. Just go to nearest centre, say cancel and bring your TM router. Then they will prorate the month's bill. I will suggest you to register for the unifi lite first before cancelling. Some reported the registration/process took too long. Mine only within one week. |

In the bill stated that the unifi lite 10mbps is actually rm99 only. Plus hypptv ruby pack rm30. Total is RM129. Is there anyway I can remove the hypptv pack? I'm not using it anyway. Just need the internet.

QUOTE(nmb3rs @ Aug 15 2017, 01:24 PM) wth. my tplink AC1200 restarted by itself again. this is the 3rd time during this week. My AC1200 restarted only once by itself (on the 2nd day of use) in the 1 month 3 days I've had it. When it comes to troubleshooting stuff like this, I like to take the low-tech approach first so I shifted the router's power adapter to another socket on the powerbar (which is hooked to a UPS/lightning arrestor). anyone else experience the same thing? Since then it's worked flawlessly. I can only theorize that the power adapter and the first socket it was plugged into didn't get along, or the adapter plug is a bit sensitive and I may have accidentally nudged it causing a momentary in the power supply thus resulting in the reboot. After that first and only self-restart, I googled and read that some AC1200's with older bios versions did suffer from a constant rebooting problem. Checked my bios version and it's the latest Malaysian one with bug fixes for UNIFI, so I left it at that. |

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Aug 14 2017, 11:12 AM) As long as your area has unifi coverage, you can subscribe to unifi lite. Try pm the agents on page one and they will be more than glad to help you on this. Thanks for the response. In fact I had had several phone calls in the past few weeks regarding upgrading. However they all offered only the 30Mbps package. When I mentioned UniFi Lite, no response. I asked where is the Agent/Reseller located and whether there is a local Office in Ipoh, Perak. No response to my query. So, in the end no action taken. Prior to all this, I was mis-informed that only Agents/Resellers are able to provide the new UniFi Lite. That's the reason I approached local Agents/Resellers and all kept me in the dark. How disappointing. Then a friend suggested go to TM Point and I decided if that is the last avenue. On the 14th Monday, I visited TM Point at Jalan Tasek, Ipoh. Success! Application approved! No hassle. Thumbprint scanned. Present land-line phone number transfered to UniFi at no extra charges. Present Streamyx account simultaneous termination upon succesful installation and activation. What a pleasant day after weeks and weeks of disappointment. Ya lor... Streamyx 4Mbps users left to rot! Thanks again. |

Hi friends,
Can anyone enlighten me regarding the type/brand of wireless modem TM UniFi Lite provide in the current batches of installation? Can my new D-Link DIR-619L be a suitable substitute for TM's original wireless modem? Thank you. |

One more info request. Will a dual-band wireless router be of any help for mobile smartphones?Currently on my Streamyx 4Mbps layout, I use two wireless routers. An ancient D-Link DWL-1000AP+ for friends and visitors. The newer DIR-619L for my personal and private devices. Ha! Ha! Talking about segregation. All wireless connections are set to filter out with MAC Addresses "Allow only devices" apart from the usual encryptions WPS/WPA ecetera ecetera. So my question now is, will I be able to keep my two previous wireless router connected to the UniFi Lite setup? Just curious to know. |
