that's the shitty part by any service providers when they want to acquire more subscribers.

they keep tweaking/offering different goodies, which can be either sux or gooding, depending on the ppl getting it laugh.gif

for me, this tablet is still sux and has zero value, to me at least. i'd rather they drop the hypptv bundling (or at least option to cancel the subscription) once and for all.

wish.... sweat.gif

Unifi Lite RM129 without free Tablet or Unifi Lite Rm149 with free Tablet?
majority will choose RM129 without free tablet!

Ya. Who wants to choose RM20 more for a useless tablet and I don't call much from my home bcoz we have a cellphone with us. So I'm not going to waste RM20 more for that offer.

A question while waiting for the installer to come my home, will the router provided good enough or should I buy a better router on my own?
Seems like there are a few different router to be provided based on stock availability, is any of them particularly better (that I can just keep using it for some time) or terrible (that I should get a better router as soon as possible)?
*
I contacted the installer a day before he came. I wanted a tp link router but he didn't have. They only had dlink. At the end they gave me dlink but my existing router is asus 68u. From reviews, i know that asus is way better and the installer agreed with that.

When they installed mine, they did not open the router box. Use back my asus. Even that also, they just changed the internet set up i.e from ppoe streamyx to unifi home. No other setting was changed. My dns, wifi ssid all remained the same. Save them a lot of time of setting up the new router.

If your existing router is better i.e more than ac1200 just stick to existing router. Otherwise probably use tm one and only upgrade later.

That's from my experience.

d-link not good? so far my d-link 850L is good, don't need to reboot, stay connected for over 10 days, no problem, temperature just a bit on the high, around 41 -+ celsius.

use hairdryer to heat the sticker and slowly try to peel it, stick the sticker somewhere for safe keeping, stick back when needed.

Why the hell is the ping so high, until 30ms. While my FTTH is only 6ms.

God damn it TM.

I saw the VDSL2 is configured as Interleaved, not Fast mode. Stupid mode.

I can't believed in 2017, I am still ranting about Fast Mode vs Interleaved mode... mad.gif

perhaps your VDSL line is too many noise therefore TM enable interleaved mode to reduce the error

Well....easiest method is for archonixm to check his modem/router vdsl SNR and attenuation....

Generally, fastpath worst case latency is limited to 2ms.

Interleaving worst case latency with max 16 DMT Symbol = 256ms shocking.gif

From early discussion... I read... if landed house... fiber... if condos.. could be copper also... so the answer to your question is both... it depends... smile.gif
