If I need to revise my credit card cycle. how far out can I do it? now it is set on 23, but I only receive my salary on the last day of each month.. Is it okay to for the cycle to 1st or 2nd instead?

each bank has different bill cycle dates. not all dates in the calendar are available, usually some fixed dates. call them to enquire all available dates (AND SHARE BACK HERE!  biggrin.gif )

usually they ask your preferred due date (+20 days after bill date). e.g. if you prefer bill date on 2nd, due date is 22nd.
my preference, bill date AND due date is within same calendar month, so that it doesnt run and easy to track. if due date is cross-month, sometimes the date will be off by 1-2 days, longer if cross from Feb to Mar.

Mine is a bit peculiar, as i applied online, and i didn't recall informing the bank of the preferred bill/payment date. Based on your info, the billing would be for a month, and the settlement due date is +20days after the billing date. correct?

screenshoots below, for my new CC. not sure how to read into this:

CC activation date:

Card details, as per M2U:

they doesnt ask you. statement date is assigned automatically.

from the m2u screenshot, bill date is 3rd, due date is 23rd.

feel free to change the statement date by calling mbb.

Depend on how the merchant void the txn, normally retail shop won’t do settlement so fast, no settlement b4 refund, then it won’t show in ur statement.. if settlement d, then refund, mean will post n wait for refund posting too..
But, normally those shopping mall will only do settlement at night..

If want to use the 0% easy payment scheme, do I have to inform the merchant at the point of transaction, or call bank to inform about the transaction and get approval first?

If the merchant offers 0% easy payment scheme, then you will need to inform merchant.

Then swipe like normal, after it's posted to your unbilled transactions, then call bank to convert into installment.
