QUOTE(firegal @ Mar 10 2017, 05:52 PM) All CVT owner, did you guys aware your temp gauge? It will be normal for 3 bars, when you drive on highway, 110-120, especially morning and night, it will reduce to 2 bars? Wanna collect more info before check with SC. So far i know only 2 people having this issue including me. Mine was never more than 2 bar. Then I took the car to SC because I thought the thermostat might be broken. The foreman plug the laptop into the car and did something with it. Then I got the 3 bar. 2 weeks later, I went for 1000km service and now it's back to 2 bar. QUOTE(anthraxxxx @ Mar 12 2017, 09:09 AM) Experiencing the infamous dashboard rattling after 1 week of driving. Lol, same as you but a bit lazy to sent it to SC yet since the sound is still acceptable for me. One thing is my left back passenger side window got large grinding sound when open and close it. Fortunately hardly use that window and will repair it when going for 10k km service.

QUOTE(coolguy99 @ Mar 13 2017, 10:27 AM) can i ask what is the functionality of a car charger since we already have a usb port in the car? sorry newbie here. In my case, I prefer to use a car charger as its closer to the phone holder I have - which is mounted on the dash. Since its closer; I use a shorter charging cable. Secondly, the additional port on this particular XiaoMi USB charger is available to charge other devices that may need to be mounted on the windscreen, dashboard or air-conditioning vent i.e GPS, Dashcam etc. The USB ports provided in the car are just aft of the handbrake lever. I prefer to leave that for the rear passengers; also didn't want cables cluttering up the hand brake lever area.

QUOTE(alanyuppie @ Mar 13 2017, 09:22 AM) I agree, the bar give drivers a wrong impression of huge fluctuation and causes unnecessary anxiety. Yeah.. thats worried me alot. I have been read through many temp related post previously due to car overtemp previously for my other car. Thats why I'm quite sensitive with this. QUOTE(LedZepp67 @ Mar 13 2017, 11:23 AM) This might help.. Radio Data Systemgood info. Copy and Paste here for others' easy referencing AF (alternative frequencies)This allows a receiver to re-tune to a different frequency providing the same station when the first signal becomes too weak (e.g., when moving out of range). This is often used in car stereo systems. TA, TP (traffic announcement, traffic programme)The receiver can often be set to pay special attention to this flag and, for example, stop the tape/pause the CD or retune to receive a traffic bulletin. The TP flag is used to allow the user to find only those stations that regularly broadcast traffic bulletins whereas the TA flag is used to signal an actual traffic bulletin in progress, with radio units perhaps performing other actions such as stopping a cassette tape (so the radio can be heard) or raising the volume during the traffic bulletin. REG (regional)This is mainly used in countries where national broadcasters run "region-specific" programming such as regional opt-outs on some of their transmitters. This functionality allows the user to "lock-down" the set to their current region or let the radio tune into other region-specific programming as they move into the other region.

So only first one is useful?? Anyone try to pair HU with iphone? while using waze, is that possible to listen the radio? I try pair but it didn't speak when I in radio mode. When in phone mode, I can't listen radio >.<

Btw, I've de-selected all those tabs. The HU still hangs occasionally but the "auto volume up-down syndrome" has subsided. Annoying at times, but that's what Proton has installed on our cars & the Iriz. This post has been edited by LedZepp67: Mar 13 2017, 11:57 AM

My SA didn't pump full tank for me (minus one bar to full tanK). Total distance traveled was 171 KM until the blinking refuel icon comes out. Kinda underwhelming. Hopefully it will improve significantly after the first 1000 KM service.

On is definitely the best. Only off when you want to do drifting. Hehe Also off when using your spare tire or your car stuck in the mud/sand or something like that.

QUOTE(zAciX @ Mar 13 2017, 12:30 PM) anyone know how the Hill Start Assistant works for MT? i always get engine mati due to my bad clutching feeling Hill hold assist kick in right after u came to a complete stop on a slope, once comes to a full stop, you release the brake pedal the car will hold to it on its on for a few seconds. until you engage your gear and clutch start biting, the hill hold assist will cancel on its own. Shouldn't cause any problem other than the display keep showing need inspection, you may take it to service centre to get it reset if that's an eyesore Meanwhile for mine at 1k km service they ter-reset to 20k km/12 months for next service But I didn't do anything since I don't really mind that...
