I see.. Thx for d reply,, i thought to unroot is the easiest way.. haha

Depending on device.. Normally yes, unrooting is the easiest way. But with lesser known devices, Higher chance to brick it trying to flash a custom recovery and later Magisksu or deleting SuperSU, etc.. Than it is to flash updated stock/custom ROMs.

Hmmm I'm using minix neo u9-h and I am experiencing slow download speed with WiFi and wired connection. I've subscribe to unifi 500mb package and when I test the speed at TM speed test it can only reach around 60mbps DL and UL of 100mbps which is weird.... I've also tried speed test on my phone and it can hit 350mbps... Anyone know why?

Most TVbox hardware are very mediocre in WiFi performance. If you can get a steady 60 Mbps, happy already.

Wired connection should be better. If you can't get > 100mbps, then Minix neo is just nothing but hype. LOL.

Use 5GHz, I can get close to 200Mbps on my Minix U1 box, router at upstairs. Also using 500Mbps when I'm at hometown.

In PJ, my own place - it maximizes my speed too >120Mbps with 5GHz.

Your TV is android TV? If yes, then u cn directly install VLC from google playstore.

If you are using an android box then can install VLC from google playstore as well.

It would work either way. thumbup.gif

Hi, your first criteria already rules out getting an Apple TV 4K.. AFAIK, there's not yet support for it. So unless you specifically want the Apple TV 4K for other more important reasons than those listed above? I'd say that you consider other Android OS powered boxes.. nod.gif Cheaper and better experience for those 3 apps and services.

Here's an older thread dedicated to the Apple TV.. Last post from 2016.. You could go post there and reignite the passion.

Hi... thanks to /k who gave me aptoide link to me to download back my apps(which i dunno how i deleted it), i finally can save my android box from being thrown away

so far i have downloaded...
1. RSS Player
2. Youtube
3. Mobro

Any other apps that android box should have?

My box was preinstalled with this KODI(useless app, cant load subs)

so to watch a movie, i will download it together with subs file... n play from my pendrive

The things is the subs timing a bit off, so i planned to download a player (VLC) or (MX Player) suggested by the aptoide...

Any other recommendation?

Setup Kodi right and it's far from useless... doh.gif .. Kodi can fetch subs on the fly, install subscene and opensubs addons.. As for timing off? Easy solve as Kodi will tell you if the sub you are downloading will be a perfect sync or not. Even if there's no perfect sync sub, it also allows adjusting sub display timing, again on the fly.. User problem =/= App problem.
