After using 5900x for 2 weeks, I can concluded that it is a very hot processor. So much hotter than 3700x. Averagely 48-50'c idle and 80 - 82'c during heavy gaming. 88-89 during benchmarking. I even remount my DH15 as I thought not enough pressure or paste. The hot chipset is the reason why I opted for a B550. So far no throttling yet but the high temp made me uncomfortable. But it is a very fast processor, give and take maybe?
