Its data size. I put large data set on OCCT, it goes 4.45Ghz all core, small data goes 3.8Ghz. If I go large FFT on prime95, it should clock higher.

here is a good read on Curve Optimizer on PBO2

https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/krjnc...ility_test_and/

And whoever designed the AM4 mounting for Arctic Liquid Freezer is damn idiot.. who has the flexibility to hold the backplate ; insert 4 screws, and tighten the cooler with just 2 hands...

especially when the mobo already in the case

i remembered correctly I saw that the rev3 comes with easier mounting.. anyone has local contact where I can get this>?

hmm smallest fft on prime i still getting 4.2ghz on my 3600 or is that the behavior of 5900x since the ppt is much higher?

And it turns out much hotter than what im expecting haha. I intially thought 105w tdp means a 240 would be sufficient.

lol at the arctic liquid freezer mount. You can ask someone to hold it for you, or kage bunshin and do it yourself, or use your thigh to hold the plate and acrobat your arm to tighten 1 screw first.

I'm presuming you manually clocked the cores?

Arctic 360 is painful to install. Just tape the backplate first.

heh, I know. I installed 2, seriously I used my thigh to lock it in place and hopefully 1 screw goes in and there's that.

but yeah, paper tape is probably a better idea.

mine’s totally stock Ryzen 3600 with a 120mm aio reaching 76C after an hour long on P95 smallest fft. Nothing to brag about.. In fact, I feel it’s pretty disappointing.

on the side note, Im looking for trades.. preferably gigabyte z490 itx + 10100 or 10400F(i topup), for my gigabyte B550 itx + ryzen 3600.

yeah, not the nicest experience to mount that thing but you'll get used to it.
Ask Tristan, he mounted the pump twice dy with different paste.

but how's the temp, any good?

There are cases of people using other mounting system like Der Bauer. You have to measure so many things. Just make sure it properly mounts on top of the CPU. I would still advise using tape behind the case because its the fastest solution. You can remove the tape after 2 screws.

I'm using artic p12 fans for my case fans and I'm very happy so far.

I wouldn't go near arctic freezer aio tho after watching YouTube videos ppl struggle to mount onto mobo. xD
