last month, I m thinking of just swapping my old 2700x with new 5800x in my C7H rig without messing other things...  Now I am forced to buy a new board if I bought the 5800x.  Fark!!!

I tried asking another seller (Occasin Sdn Bhd) other than Idealtech, the sale rep said he's currently exploring the possibility of doing a pre-order and will update me once he has the latest info.

He mentioned that for now, they will only know the actual retail price (in MYR) on the release day itself i.e. 5 November.

From the conversation, it seems like they are hesitant to do pre-orders coz they still waiting for confirmation on the final retail price & whether they can get the CPU stocks itself on 5 November.

After using 5900x for 2 weeks, I can concluded that it is a very hot processor. So much hotter than 3700x.
