QUOTE(fruitie @ Dec 18 2016, 05:21 PM) You mean the long password that used to login to UniFi account, used for router settings? Try ask tmchat. I did it few years ago.I thought that can't be changed? I meant the UniFi service password, we cannot change it. In case, we forgot we will call TM to retrieve it. However, if using stock router can easily retrieve it. I have kept one well and can be retrieved anytime if I change router. OCC UniFi password can easily change at OCC. |

QUOTE(Jjuggler @ Dec 16 2016, 10:54 PM) I just called TM today to upgrade my speed to 50Mbps. However, I can't get new equipment since I just do upgrade via phone. The good side is, even if i upgrade the speed, the contract remains unchanged. The bad side, cannot get new equipment such as hypptv and cordless phone. Contract remain but are you able to downgrade?QUOTE(jiaen0509 @ Dec 16 2016, 11:31 PM) I got called from their telemarketer twice. The first one offer me RM 219 with extending contract for additional 2 years. That first caller (man) call me twice because I need to discuss with my housemate. And later I told him not interested. -DONE- Second caller (lady) called me 15 days after that. But this time for the same price my contract wouldn't have to be extended, and just finish with the remaining months. I asked her to do the same as the first caller did for the same reason and I rejected the offer on the second time she called. 3 days after that she called me again; "Hi selamat pagi, Nur (xxx) daripada TM membuat panggilan, jadi macam mana encik (xxx)? Berminat dengan tawaran?" "Ye saya bercakap... Tapi saya dah bagi jawapan kan tempoh hari" And she explain bla bla bla... (I wasn't pay attention to what she said coz right now I was wondering, is this just coincident or is it God knows better himself that I should take that offer for the sake of next year benefit). In that curiosity, I asked her just what I want to hear "If I upgrade now, would I entitle for free upgrade to 100 Mbps next year?" And she said "YES! But we still...... (bla bla bla)" "SIGN ME IN!!!!!!!!" I said confidentially "Kalau encik (xxx) bersetuju saya akan bacakan terma2nya untuk kita teruskan proses upgrade ini ya encik" And I said "OK!" "Encik (xxx) bernombor kad pengenalan (xxx) adalah pemilik utama akaun (xxx). YA! "Encik bersetuju untuk menaik taraf Pakej semasa 30 Mbps akan dinaiktaraf ke pakej 50 Mbps. YA! "Naiktaraf ini adalah melalui telefon, maka segala peralatan digunakan adalah masih sama dan encik bersetuju dengan perkara ini. YA! I said yes to everything she said for verification purpose that I agreed with the offer "Pakej semasa 30 Mbps akan dinaiktaraf ke pakej 50 Mbps dengan terma terma berikut..." As she explain one by one 1. 2. 3. . . . . . . . . And come to the final statement. "Pakej yang telah dinaiktaraf kepada 50 Mbps ini TIDAK BOLEH dituruntaraf kepada pakej yang lebih rendah" Owh.... F*CK! QUOTE(nikrizal @ Dec 17 2016, 03:31 PM) Dial up 1515 sure is the pain in the as* back then. Speed 56k but still that one bearable la at that time. Now, I dunno. QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ Dec 18 2016, 01:14 AM) I believe it's the same offer. I have a feeling the price cut will happen. Those with 5mbps/10mbps currently will get price reduction. 30mbps will get new price somewhere around RM149. QUOTE(Boldnut @ Dec 18 2016, 03:36 PM) may be by end of 2017 or 2018 our RM149 package is 30mbps. I thought they said "Double the speed, half the price"?Sometimes I don't know what TM is thinking. Just give free upgrade to those RM149 to 20-25mbps., why bother so many complex pricing package, RM159,169, 179, 199 lol IMO Unifi should be something like this already RM149 = 25mbps RM199 = 50mbps RM249-279 = 100mbps |

What if upgrading from Streamyx 4Mbps to Unifi 30Mbps, I wonder if the tm reward will be kept or it will reset to 0?

QUOTE(Icehart @ Dec 19 2016, 02:13 AM) Sure a good deal. For the current promotion I pay less RM 10. My true intention for upgrade is to get 100 Mbps for next year so I am paying less for extra Mbps. What I am worried about is I will not get the upgrade. First, the terms and condition clearly stated that free upgrade is for Old Trafford Promo in conjunction to PM announcement. Anything earlier than that might be considered by TM la. But for the mean time, the bold statement is for that particular promo before end of 31st Dec 2016. Secondly the TM telemarketer did told me I am eligible for the free upgrade. But currently my area are not supported with 100 Mbps. The highest package is 50 Mbps but still do not in 2017 how it is gonna be. And I am using FTTH right now. So I am afraid that I keep my hope too high and in the end of the day my unit aren't eligible for upgrade because of that so called TECHNICAL PROBLEM. And I cannot revert back to previous plan because of the terms and conditions for the new package, TIDAK BOLEH DITURUNTARAF ke pakej yang lebih rendah. So I end up paying more while the rest of 28 Mbps clubbers are enjoying the same bandwidth as I do for much less fee. But what I am thinking of right now (since many of us asked should I apply unifi now or next year), Why TM make a statement of "Upgrade before 31st December 2016, and get free upgrade by next year"? Since it is 2017 budget, doesn't that mean the free upgrade must be on for the whole year of 2017 or at least till PM announce 2018 budget? So if you apply next year also, you will get the speed that you intended to get la kan.. By right. QUOTE(cucubud @ Dec 19 2016, 07:44 AM) Double the speed, price remainQUOTE(jasmeet21 @ Dec 19 2016, 07:52 AM) What if upgrading from Streamyx 4Mbps to Unifi 30Mbps, I wonder if the tm reward will be kept or it will reset to 0? QUOTE(christina1 @ Dec 19 2016, 11:01 AM) Important? Of course nobody will deny more speed. Come on even 10Mbps is enough to many people. I'm using it all alone for myself, 30Mbps is sufficient for me but that doesn't mean I don't want to be upgraded to 50/100M. It's not the same for everyone, some will see the pricing first and various reasons. To me, though I can afford but I'm always not in the country, so wasted to pay additional when I'm not using it. So I will just welcome free upgrade to 50M since I will get it anyway. |

When I first applied for UniFi, my intention was to get VIP10 but I know TM will call me in few months time for cheaper upgrade, so I tahan. |
