Usually how long it takes for SC to approve JOP credit card? Almost 2 weeks but still in process

i applied thru RP. same with your case, the pending in ccris stayed fro monthsss. i forgot how long the time, maybe like 3-4 months?

my case is, 1st attempt, happen the case like yours. Then i waited 3 months, the pending in ccris still there and i applied again, straight away rejected(maybe got a 6month cool down period)

then forgot how long period, it disappeared. maybe like after 6-7months, i just apply again thru RP, approved within 5 days and got my card after 1 week plus.

but very weird, ccris never show up anything, usually it has pending, then approved by FI. but it doesnt. totally invisible from start to end.

The funniest thing is, when i receive the card, i notice printed Member since 2008.
Oh ya i had SC card back in 2008 which i cancelled long time ago.

i login to the apps/online banking, the 2008 card info still there!

will it effect my GE cash value in future?

because last time i am GE agent,
and i use their software to generate my future cash value return table,
quarterly is higher than monthly.

is it due to processing fee or anything else?

From what my insurance agent told me, it will affect the cash value if pay monthly, since you basically invest less time. Just like you either put your money in 12months FD OR you put the FD monthly.

But the difference I think should be negligible. My agent suggest to take the OCBC GE card which will pay 1 year lump sump and auto convert to installment.

No one can confirm since we have conflicting T&C from both SC & RinggitPlus. RinggitPlus specifically mentions "no automatic waiver" so it certainly sounds like we can give SC a call once your AF shows up in your statement.
