No use my friends. People who don't have issue with Note 7 so far would say it's first world problem, not their problem. No matter what happened in other countries, they would not care about it. Whoever banned Note 7, boycott them! rclxs0.gif

I guess it is really human nature that nothing happens will not deter them from anything.

Samsung worldwide should have really ask user to switch off and return just like what they did in Australia.

someguy just called me up from Samsung, explaining about the exchange program and on the 29th bla bla bla..

Straight away I asked for an option for refund.

Answer : errr... errr(really he kind of stuttered to answer) we don't recommend that action sir.

Me : But what if I insist on a REFUND

Answer : please hold on the line for a second....(after 2 minutes), we will be asking another agent to call you sir.

Me : Is it true that SAMSUNG will be giving us a SP and Screen protection warranty?

Answer : Yes SIR.. we will be giving those things.

Me : Screen protection warranty for how long?

Answer : err... errr.... we will be giving warranty for screen protection sir.(Dont have a clue if it is 3 mths wty or 6mths or 12 mths.

Me : If I can't get a refund, Is it possible to get a color change?

Answer : I'm sorry sir that is not possible.

Me : Then, I will be waiting for this OTHER agent to call me.

Answer : Are you sure sir?

Me : Yes.

Answer : Ok sir, we will be arranging another agent to call you.

They're not asking you to hand in the phone earlier. Just to inform you of the date to go in and get a replacement.
But hey, if they took the initiative to call you, you might as well vent whatever dissatisfaction at them for all its worth. biggrin.gif

Probably batch by batch, a colleague of mine from my office got the call 2 days ago already. So, I was already ready to try for the "refund or color change" tactic already.

Just went to samsung sc to purchase additional warranty RM99, after checking all things, they told me management ask to hold all warranty purchase for note 7. After exchange on 29th sep only can purchase. Due to samsung give screen warranty etc blablabla....

Maxis CS just called me regarding my email which rejected to returned N7 now and get the replacement on 29/9.

I told him I am willing to get the replacement phone after 29/9 on the spot when I return my set.

His answer: I will call you back ....

So now we not sure how long is the screen crack warranty?

I remember Courts says its 1 year. But Sen Heng is 4 months?
