i leave it on my desk and when i am back at my desk, just put the phone on the desk. can also use that to charge my phone while i watch movies, etc... since you can place the phone sideways too.
charging speed isn't an issue for me. it's not that bad. speed is still quite decent.
but ya... different ppl, different preference.
i personally dun like metal coz it attracts scratches. i actually like those plastic like back in Note 2 days. i miss those...
