If this is D.G.C.lc.m H.tl.nk or some other telco then it makes sense to topup now and buy validity later ... for onexox it makes no difference (validity is stacked to the end of current) ... might as well do it now and have some peace of mind ... dont u think so ?

OneXOX look like become along to use “warning” to collect money. So I decide lodge again second appeal to mcmc with below msg.

[Received a “warning” from OneXOX to topup the rm30 before 20/8/2024 while my active period still valid until 25/12/2024. I would like to express my complaint again, no one telco in market withdrawal back the activation period after given, everyone of them give the activation period after topup, but OneXOX the pioneer in market to start this way. This is unfair to consumers and unpracticed by telco in market. I wish mcmc staff can step in to look for this issue seriously. Thanks.]

I want some time to think whether to use the top up to buy data and use them all up and port to another Telco or use the top up to buy validity.and continue with ONEXOX.

I can't catch what you want to say, but the SMS received from onexox is related to the new term implemented where need to topup rm30 every 120 days or buy the yearly validity. No mistake, onexox already do one time to bar the users line in June 2024 but reverted back after I complain it to mcmc. Now my case still pending review by mcmc. But here I want to say, even though onexox mentioned my line will barred on 20/8, but until today my line still alive and date validity no changed at all, still Dec 2024.

If you just want to park your line without slot in sim card to phone, OneXOX still worth as choose and just set reminders before expiration after buy the 1 year validity. If you just seldom use but slot in the sim card to phone, Unifi prepaid is the best choose at this moment. Unifi prepaid give you 90 days validity after you make maintaining like send one sms, call out, topup or surf internet at least 1Mb.

This XOX giving me problem, always have to call them to reset and activate data, they say my Sim card too old, have to change and pay rm 10. Any experience to share?

I have 2 xox simcards registered on 2017(Old mini simcard) now I had manually cut into nano sim size to fit into new

5G phone and no problem with data.

Means they tipu me. Everytime I subscribe to data, I have to call them and ask them to reset their network. Something is wrong here. Only this particular number.

Anyone knows whether the one-year validity subscription is stackable with existing expiry date? As in, if my line expires next month (Oct), will the new expiry date be one year from now or Oct 2025?

Will expire on Oct 2025. Yes, stackable, the only telco that does this.

Just turn on airplane mode on and then off should be enough.

Tried. Even reboot. Doesn't work. Must reset from their side.
