Menteri Digital, Gobind Singh Deo kini dipetik mengatakan kelak pelbagai perkhidmatan melibatkan kerajaan akan memerlukan penggunaan MyDigital ID. Antara contoh yang diberikan adalah termasuk perkhidmatan seperti pendaftaran perkahwinan, sijil kematian dan juga pembaharuan untuk pasport.
