HI sifu.
I know its a bit OT. But this is the place where all sifu gathered. haha.
Currently Vios NCP 42, realize one of the rim bengkok abit, really abit only during balancing process. But after done the alignment, the handling still good at 130km/hr. So until now I don't bother...
Till that during one traffic jam, got one fella duno is sleeping or playing phone, bang to rear, my rear bumper on the right hand side drop around 2 cm, with no external damage, but internal part (below brake light) break already, and the bracket also break already. And eventually the bumper also paint come out abit. Lastly able to fix it by forcely pull up by hand not machine. But left a 1cm gap just below the right break light.
I planning to change the rear bumper at SC because have to go SC to replace the airbag.
Since going to SC, I just want to ask regarding the rim.... Is anyone here change their rim at SC before. I mean, I wish to buy rim at SC and ask them to fix for me too. If yes, do I need to know what to worry? Because I am afraid that the nut placing isn't same? Like NCP 150 have diff length between to nuts compared to NCM 42? ( PCD ) But I am wondering is it ok to remove tyre from old rim and into the new rim? Will it affect the quality of the tyre?
Thanks.
Where got sifu here? TCSS kings only
Later other tered TCSS gods butthurt come here
Since your car so old don't need go back SC do anything. They'll just suck your money.
NCP 42 rear bumper which is made from PP material which nowadays many manufacturers and OEM also use as original parts but older Vios I think still used ABS material for their bumpers, you can scout around chop shops for used bumpers which will cost less than RM100 or if you want cheap but new can go see parts stockist if they carry those but usually they'll carry compatibles like the one in this advertisement, really original from factory is going to cost you double the price.
Vios original rim (i think this is the first gen NCP42 model rim) still so shiny and only for RM200 what a steal.QUOTE(Kieff @ Oct 18 2016, 05:22 PM)
Thanks! I'm not sensitive abt the pricing trend 8n the used car market. Would the price of used car in the shop drop after crossing into year 2017, just like new car, usually??
If in used car lots as a used car, yes.
If as unregistered new car usually no, unless cannot sell like VW Polo, but Perodua Myvi's made in November usually crossover to January without price drop as the factory usually ramp up production around that time of the year to have enough supply for CNY sales.

me budak baik... no vroom vroom punya
sooby? hmm which vers?? latest wrx is a little intimidating... more power than the old sti WITH a cvt... A CVT!!!!! blasphemy!!
intimidating because you not sure if the CVT can handle that much power?
It's not the same CVT in your Preve.
It has a torque converter and able to withstand high torque.
Though I think it's limits are far lower than manuals.
But hey Audi's had high powered
TLDR but gearhead porn....dun fap.

Audi has addressed these problems with its Multitronic CVT, paired with its all-new 220-bhp 3.0-liter V-6 that's available in both the and (see Ampersand, September 2001). Handling its peak torque of 221 lb.-ft. is the Multitronic's link-type chain. Manufactured by Luk, the 1025-link, 1.4-in.-wide, 3.7-lb. chain operates in tension, rather than compression as with the commonly used Van Doorne metal belt. And the clamping loads of the movable pulley halves are applied to the ends of the chain's 75 pairs of link pins, rather than to the edges of the Van Doorne belt's triangular steel plates that are strung together like a bead necklace.
Claims there's no slippage, even at the highest numerical ratio (12.7:1) where only nine pairs of link pins, made of ball bearing-grade steel, are clamped by the drive pulley. If a sudden shock to the driveline occurs, such as a wheel regaining traction after spinning on ice, a mechanical torque sensor instantaneously applies a clamping force — in addition to the normal hydraulic pressure — to prevent slippage. This approach allows the CVT's hydraulic pump to run at a reduced pressure, increasing efficiency.
sosVersion 10 uses a wet box 5 speeder though

oem as in truelly original stuff..... your original rims are oemlah (this is using the term oem correctly, unlike how these chinaman ripoffs tell you their real cheap china made stuff is oem)
so what i meant by that is, find a set of used original rims.... those rims are heavy and are worth next to nothing. you will probably get the set of four for the price of one in the sc.
pcd salah, 100% cannot masuk.i mean, the studs wont go though....
personally still feel that you should look for rims elsewhere...... sc gona chop you big time
*go to mudah and cari* personally would go cari a set of aftermarket rimslah, long as not ahbeng ahbeng type, its alright...... me still waiting for my tires to die before changing rims.... current rims impractical and are silly....
what you got?
