they do.. sort of

city for the money (4th gen for this $)
- not too old, good fc, fairly large (to me large = has 4 doors + bigger than a saga) has it all BUT the folding seats
sentras
-still think this is a good option, has a huge boot spacious interior BUT bigger cc, no folding seats
latio
-well..... hatchback + space technically fulfills the basic req~~ (pretty sure it sort of folds down~
vios
-not big fan of vios so~~ well.....
altis (25k or so)
-just a  bigger vios
avanza
-not sure if you were even considering a van....

thats all i can think of~~ dont know whats ur definition of old.... or your definition of large.... to me old is classic status (25yrs) and largeish is over the size of a saga

not looking for sedan, probably van/mpv type would be more suited.

Limited folding with the seats but at least they are leather wrapped.
how limited is the seat folding with Latio?

btw you are great recommending car, you write well, do you have a blog?

Nissan Latio and Honda Jazz exceeded budget while Nissan Serena auto is 2.0cc, any cheaper alternative?

Nissan Serena the old one only within your budget.
what about Kangoo, Berlingo and similar comparison?

what would you recommend along that route of selections?

However, if you find one in good condition and don't mind parts being more expensive than Japanese cars I can show you a few good options.

Dependent Personality Disorder is characterized by a long-standing need for the person to be taken care of and a fear of being abandoned or separated from important individuals in his or her life. This leads the person to engage in dependent and submissive behaviors that are designed to elicit care-giving behaviors in others. The dependent behavior may be see as being “clingy” or “clinging on” to others, because the person fears they can’t live their lives without the help of others.

any car that serves your needs and budget is the car you need, the answer can only comes from defining clearly your need and your budget, all else (perception of others) should not matter.

Now ask your mother wants whether wants a MPV (if big family) or Compact/hatchback car.

Decide this and u have already got the long awaited answer to your questionsssss.
