QUOTE(donhue @ Apr 7 2016, 02:30 PM) I think this will be the main difference between old & new subscribers.. Old subscribers like us are happy that we're getting at least 5x the speed than what we initially signed up for (at no extra charge).. But new subscribers are signing up based on the expectation that they'll get exactly what they signed up for.. So definitely won't be happy when they see a 10% loss.. And you, sir, have pretty much hit the nail on the head. I could say you've won the Internet, but I'm not in the position or power to offer it

Is Time Fibre still only for Condo and apartments? Can landed houses also apply?
And is there coverage for TTDI?

Glad to have any extra speed than original speed of 10mbps..

Hi bros
Can anyone check if Parklane OUG is covered by Time?
If NO, can you get an expected time/date/year that Time would be coming?
Cause now for Parklane OUG, Unifi is coming in in May. and if Time not planning to come soon or what then I forced to go with Unifi. But the thing is, if sign up with Unifi got contract of 2 years.. So even if want change to Time later also a bit susah have to pay fine all..
If Time has plans to come anytime soon, then I would definitely wait for Time.

I would say that's down to the principal of things more than anything and your level of kiasu-ness. At which point would you complain that you're not getting the promised bandwidth? 50% less? 90% less? 99% less? There's all this talk about accepting and being thankful about what we get. This is the reason why we're firmly stuck in the second or even third world. Keep in mind I'm not complaining about not getting what is being advertised, that's the other guy. .... Rocking the internet since 28.8kbps.

I don't think it's so much about being thankful and accepting. More about setting my own expectation more realistically. Not even Google Fiber in the US gives users actual 1024 megabits per second as advertised, I believe. DSLReports-GoogleFiberQUOTE Near Gbit speeds across the country (typically over 900M anytime of day) This post has been edited by kmrdeva: Apr 8 2016, 06:32 AM
