Hi bros

Can anyone check if Parklane OUG is covered by Time?

If NO, can you get an expected time/date/year that Time would be coming?

Cause now for Parklane OUG, Unifi is coming in in May.
and if Time not planning to come soon or what then I forced to go with Unifi. But the thing is, if sign up with Unifi got contract of 2 years.. So even if want change to Time later also a bit susah have to pay fine all..

If Time has plans to come anytime soon, then I would definitely wait for Time.

Hey guys, i'm looking for a Time agent urgently.

want to subscribe to Time and leave Unifi for good after I move in to my new place this Wednesday.

Location: Oug Parklane

PM/Reply me here. Want to know what promotions are going on right now and also what benefit I get by going through you instead of other agents/just signing up online at time's website.

Hey guys, Time installer just came and install in my house.

Want to ask something, my place @ Parklane OUG, the units are fiber ready so there is already existing fiber connecting to the home..no need for any drilling or pulling any cables,

but then I requested for the installer that I want the modem/router to be in my room, and he did the cabling all (used the white colour thin cable from the living room port and pull to the router in my room)

Total cabling length was 25 meters. He told me that 1 meter = rm10. Total damage = rm250

My question is:

Is the 15 meters free cabling as mentioned on Time's website covered for this? I.e. I pay 25-15 = 10 meters (rm100) or its not included and I have to pay the full amount of rm250?

Speedy replies are appreciated. Because the installer left already, he gave me his bank account number and ask me to bank in to him hmm.gif

Hi Bro,

That is a fiber prelaid building, 15m cable rule does not apply. Those additional work that you requested will be between you and the Service Installer.

Thanks.
*
thanks for the reply and also yeapch01 for helping with all the registration process. rclxms.gif

satisfied and highly recommended.

so far speedtests and downloading seems ok, havent test the connection for gaming yet. smile.gif

Bro, my 100mbps time in my condo, the wireless mode speed is stuck in 20mbps region.

Is there any way i can tweak the standard router to get max speed through wireless?
*
mine also.

all my devices using wifi, gets speeds of +- 20-30mbps, all except one. my mom's xiaomi mi3. hers can get the usual 100mbps speed. Weird why ah.

I read on this matter before something about the router but i totally forgotten what is it about already.
can someone educate me on that or give me a link to read.

is it anything to do with 2.4ghz vs 5ghz wifi?

Stand beside the router and conduct the speedtest again. smile.gif

that was literally the first thing i did to check it..
if you are near the router, you get better speeds (but still in the 20-30mbps region), as compared to when you are further away.

and when i tested the mi3, it was in another room.

I tried, I got it at averagely consistency of 235--245KB/s.

There is a shaping being done at the server., not your line.

Thanks.

wow you're still awake.

since you're awake, wanna ask, i recently updated the dlink850 router, then all the settings vanished and have to setup again..

i followed what the setup wizard required, inserted my login and pass.
no problems with internet, its working. (also amazed at how easy it was to setup the router, just need the login and pass)

but ipv6 is not set up.

i tried to set up the ipv6 but idk if i do it correctly or not.

my internet connections is: pppoe
session: share with ipv4

address mode: dynamic ip
mtu : 1492 bytes

dns: obtain a dns server address

and the rest below are all enabled + slaac+stateless dhcp

anything i should change? did i set it correctly?

You are right bro, some noob TIME admin keeps messing with the routing. 3 weeks ago it was shit. Then it was normalized, then this week start again it become shit again.

I see the routing keeps on changing. Dunno wtf is wrong with TIME. To ASIA is okay, all optimized, but Europe, getting worse and worse.

hey guys noob here. but wondering is that the reason also why when i stream movies/tv series from thedaretelly/projectfreetv it's fking buffering on a 100mbps line?

when streaming shows on openload/videome, etc literally unwatchable.

but connection to local/asian sites are good..

Any one know what happen?

Im at oug parklane too. Which block are u guys staying?

Called CS and they said having some problem, AGAIN. Last week was some auto-migration issue, today issue I was told they having some power/electrical issue due to the heavy rain.

Last week also same thing, affects everyone. Whats the point of having high speed internet if the reliability is shit.
