Also around 50 mbps with wifi on Samsung Mega .

I use Merlin latest firmware.. quite good bro

Yep, it is bro but I'm keeping the firmware stock for my use. Had enough experience with custom firmware and don't need the extra features for now.

Hi Guys, I just purchased TP-Link WR1043ND, It is rated 300Mbps Wireless N, but I am only able to achieve around 80Mbps on my phone, My phone is a galaxy s7 edge, I feel that the shop is not entirely honest with me.

Anyone else using this router? please help thanks in advance

Hi guys,

Need some advice. I've been on Time for the past 2 years. It was 8Mbps when I first signed up with the 24 month contract. Then upgraded automatically to 10Mbps and recently got the email of another upgrade to 100Mbps. Naturally I was quite excited when I saw that email from Time.

But my joy was short lived. My modem and router is in the hall right next to my living room, literally 2 feet away from my sofa without any walls etc. blocking or interfering with the signal.

When I am on Wifi and I run Speedtest, the result is around 30 - 40Mbps for download and upload speed respectively. However, when I plug in my LAN cable, it can hit up to 80++ Mbps for upload and download.

Modem: Huawei HG8240
Router: Linksys E1200

Both were given to me 2 years ago when I signed up wit Time.

Any advice? Suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

You will almost never get the full 300Mbps on most routers. Different routers have different throughput depending on the components in the router.

Hmm but the Linksys E1200 is a Wireless N Router capable of up to 300Mbps. At least that's what it claims on the box and in Linksys website.

Nope, just go to www.time.com.my and check the coverage, it is listed on TIME website.
