You don't need to setup VLAN for TIME. Go to "Quick Setup", you should see following options, choose Normal mode and then continue with the rest of setup process.

Normal Mode - You don't have applied any IPTV or VOIP service
Unifi Mode - You have applied TM Unifi service
Maxis Mode - You have applied Maxis Fiber service
Other Mode - You have applied some other ISP's service which should be configured with VLAN information.

Then go to Network -> WAN and setup as follow:
WAN Connection Type: PPPoE/Russia PPPoE
Secondary Connection: Disabled
Wan Connection Mode: Connect Automatically

Yea, I get close to 300mbps if the speedtest server is capable.
You only mention your router, but who knows what device you are using?
One thing I can tell you is that even if you have N 450mbps capable device, you won't get even close to 200mbps over wifi.
To get more or less stable 300mbps via wifi, use AC1750 or better router and device.

Nothing much you can do, that's more or less the speed you can with N300 adapter.

To get 300Mbps, you need to upgrade router and wifi adapter.
I am using the following, getting 300Mbps is not a problem for me:
Router - TP-LINK Archer C7, RM400+/-
Wifi adapter - TP-LINK Archer T8E - RM200+/-

IMO, between AC1750 and AC1900, AC1900 is pointless. Both support AC1300, difference is that AC1750 supports N 450, while AC1900 supports N 600. Common devices rarely are N600 capable and in real life, N450 and N600 has no obvious difference. Besides, in the future you would be using AC band instead of N.

Choosing Time over Unifi is a no brainer. I switched to Time as soon as it was available.

I don't have this issue with C7 v2 (3.14.3 Build 150520 Rel.53345n). Most of the devices I have are using 5Ghz now.

I got the same problem with c7 v2. Usually I just reboot router until it become stable. It happens once every 1-2 months. Once it is stable, it will last a long time.

I got lower speed if switch to channel 36 also. I am getting the highest average speed using channel 149 - 161.

They should treat everyone fairly on this be it old or new subscriber since everyone is paying for their service.

Just replace everyone's current router to the new one to avoid any unhappy users like me and also from configuring back the router settings when we upgrade our current router firmware. This is what you call services done in a proper and right way.

Similar as you, my plan was upgraded from 100mbps (old plan) to 300mbps, but TDC didn't gave me an option to upgrade the router.
I knew well that the existing router (zte wifi N300 router) was practically impossible to achieve more than 100mpbs over wifi, so I just bought my own AC1750 router. However from JJJ2's test, seems like AC1200 router is enough to reach 300mbps over wifi.

What about speed via LAN? Is it ok? Which router are you using? Dlink or ZTE stock router from TIME?
If only WiFi got issue, then it's router issue.
I have been using TIME for 2 years now, I never had such issue, but I'm not using the router provided by TIME.
Only getting 38mbps? you are not getting the full potential of TIME. Maybe either your device or your router does not support AC wifi.

Yes I am noticed that as well. This is the same speed I got for WIFI since the first day of installation.

Currently I am using 2.4GHz connection. Even I try to use the 5.0GHz connection, speed is about the same.

Using 2.4ghz N wifi, it is very difficult to get close to 100mbps.
AC wifi is the 5ghz wifi with 433/867/1300 mbps bandwidth.
Using AC wifi (433mbps device), I can get 80 - 280mbps depending on the distance from the router.

Since you subscribed TIME a year ago, you must be using DLINK 850L router, I never used it but there are a lot of complaints about this router.
