I remember they did a test run (June 2015-Dec 2015) by giving free 2GB on top of basic 2GB for Surfmore50. 4GB total.
Now back to 2GB basic. They should have just maintained it that way Surfmore 50 having 4GB basic data is somewhat fair. |

They are either losing customers who are porting out or being forced to offer cheaper packages to customers they have been taking on a ride all this while. While this isn't fair to the other customers who are contract (such as yours truly, ha ha), I believe the loss of revenue will impact them more or less.
I can't fathom how they can just launch something for East Malaysia so blatantly without giving a thought on how their customers in Peninsular Malaysia will react. Or do they intentionally want this reaction? Either way, I'm sure Mr. Lundal will be giving their marketing folks a big bonus this year for a job well done. |

With a customer base as big as Maxis, I don't think it is plausible to please everyone. People come and go, lets see from their next quarterly results whether they gained more from this or lose more.

Call *123 to complain just now and said most of my friends received the RM68 and RM88 offer once they mentioned wanted to port out. Then the customer service officer explained to me that the offer only to dedicated customer and called Loyalty program.
Then I mentioned, I been with Maxis for more than 10 year and still not loyal enough? And said that it was unfair that all my friends received this offer while they monthly payment also same as mine. Then the officer hold my line and inquire his superior. After that, he mentioned will put my line into the special "List" and the team will do analysis and bla bla bla then only will call back me but he can't confirm when can I receive the call. Wait till tmr see when they will call back or not...hmmm |
