No surprise for me if Maxis didn't come out any plan to fight with the others.
Why？If come out a better plan like first gold,The customer currently on One Plan will confirmed switch to this new plan or limited plan.
There will be a lot of loss of revenue and profit.So instead public the counter offer or new/limited plan,their only way is do nothing and counter offer some of the customers they selected who want to port out.
Now already 18 March,31 March the first gold plan maybe end.
Last year celcom come out 38 plan,they also didn't public any new plan,just counter offer some of the selected customers.

perhaps when too many ppl port out from one plan, then they will lower their one plan price. consumer's power afterall

too sad most of the maxis customer are those businessman or uncle auntie.
Most of them are rich or prefer stable rather than change.

some companies have started to change their lines from maxis also. with the economy like this, not surprising at all.

Received a call from Maxis today offering me the exact same plan like what you guys mentioned before, which includes the following at RM78 / month without the need of contract bounding,

Unlimited call & SMS to all telco and fixed line

I was using surf more 50 for more than 2-3 years and a customer of Maxis for at least 10 years, also having two supplementary lines on Maxis One 128 and Surf More 50 plan.

Nevertheless, Maxis gives the best coverage especially 4G in Klang Valley and even my hometown at Perak, so I accepted the offer at last.

RM78 for 5GB? Lol, my gf got an offer of RM98 for 6GB. Maxis really need to standardise all the plans not by doing this

Last month offer was 68 for 5gb, 88 for 7gb

Exactly, thats why when she tell me its RM78 instead of RM68 I keep on saying I got friend being offered RM68 for the same package, then she keeps on telling its only for East Malaysia bla bla bla, end up I really lazy to argue with her anymore and just accept the offer since I think RM78 is not that bad.

Gonna make complaint on CFM & SKMM on not standardising all the package. Kesian those who are paying more but under same package

first and foremost, you got to collect evidence. see any ppl on the maxis 68 plan willing to stand out.

Already collected. And its not like majority is getting the plan being offered.
