Yay for more competition and hopefully an unlimited data package! Sei Maxis no unlimited data plan. I want to switch out yet reluctant. Putting price aside, switching out of something that don't give me problems (and I travel a lot) to something that might give me problems a bit risky leh.

I think regarding the EM issue, cannot look at it that way. EM and WM 2 different markets. If Maxis wants to target getting more subscribers there, then ofcourse they issue promo. Another example would be banks offering better rates to new customers or new to bank customers just to get their business.

If you happy with the DiGi one then dunnid change lor. If not happy then time to switch lor. Remember, a telco is only as good as its coverage.

With a customer base as big as Maxis, I don't think it is plausible to please everyone. People come and go, lets see from their next quarterly results whether they gained more from this or lose more. smile.gif EM is a pretty big market with about 5-6m population size afterall. What is losing 100-200k customers but gain 1-2m new customers?

Pity those uninformed uncles and aunties still going to maxis centers signing up for the OnePlan. Perhaps these are the targeted segment for maxis to victimize.

last time digi celcom expensive ma with poor coverage. they rather maintain existing telco lor. cannot say uninformed, everyday they read newspaper sure know digi celcom got cheaper plan. i believe the poor past reputation of other operators keeps the older crowd with maxis.
