This event is normal in job seeking process. Your employer will counter offer (if ur an asset to the company) when you plan to live the company eventually. You may argue why they got offer and why not you earlier. Well it is indeed an unfair offer to the mass though but companies like this need to do such offer to protect from future losses.

then how come U Mobile, Digi and Celcom able to provide reasonable plan for us while Maxis still stuck there, and some even selective in giving good offer?

it's their business decision lo. we cannot say why meizu, xiaomi, huawei providing high end phones at reasonable price yet samsung and iphone so expensive despite having almost similar specs. similarly the analogy some1 used in companies, you cannot argue why your boss decide to offer a better deal for your colleague to stay yet not to you. it's their decision.

maxis probably targeting different group of users. probably high end users + east malaysia since the other telco busy fighting for moderate users.

Will you scold Singapore Airline/Cathay Airline/China Airline and ask them wake up because now Tiger Air AirAsia Scoot Jetstar and a lot airlines are cheaper then them?

I wont scold, I will just feedback them that they need to improve their services and price according to the destination.. Some destination price can't be lowered as some airport that they were land charge exorbitantly on them, so they have no choice but to put high price.

You are correct.If today Maxis come out a plan like First Gold plan, I quite sure a lot of people will port in or port back to Maxis because the "QUALITY".Maybe some of the place Maxis coverage is not good,but there are a lot of other place are doing quite good 4G coverage compare to other brand.

I quite sure in your heart, you still strongly agree Maxis give you a good quality coverage compare to others...Maybe you can think that why they are more expensive compare to others.
