Good for you.
I am waiting for them to call me.
Hopefully they call me.

Just port out, Maxis is hopeless, come back again if they have better offer.

Porting out as well. The customer service rep said "Ah, but we're coming out with a new plan sometime this April" which sounds vague and wishy washy to me, and also, it's been 11 years on Maxis and this is the last straw.

The only problem is, if everyone is moving to Celcom, might become the same problem. -,-

If you're not tied to any contracts, you're free to port out from Celcom when time comes.

Lucky me, this didn't happen to me.
Replied YES on all 3 lines and ported out the next day.
Received call from Maxis for "special" offer though.

another hearsay... RM65 for 10gb ...not really for me to believe

If it's true then Maxis is back in the game.
Perhaps there are t&c like RM65 for the first 6 months then RM85 for the rest of the months with 12 months contract.

I currently have another company line with Maxis still. Once the contract tenure runs slightly shorter I will inform my company that I will help bear the penalty charges and port out to help the company save, and will subsequently assist the company lines to all migrate to a different telco.

I terminated my contract at close to RM1k, their operators dared me to do it when I called for the offer, probably because it looked like a huge sum and they thought I wouldn't do so.

Another guy called me this morning to convince me to return to Maxis, I told him unless Maxis print a full page apology on all local papers to the guy from lowyat forum who they accused of lying I don't feel like being attached to such unethical telco, because right now I am experiencing exactly what he went through and Maxis has the galls to publicly claim it was exaggerated.

I salute you! rclxms.gif
I'm convincing my family to switch all our Maxis lines to Celcom.
